  1. My drivers side engine mount gave in today. Looks fun
  2. How much play Is in the turbo shaft? I have a bent blade on my 02 ba xr6t, witch caused it to "tap the housing" and bend it slightly

  4. Haha yea man I was dumb founded when he mentioned it, the car was tuned all the gear on it, but he tuned it a different way. This time its getting a proper flash tune, I pick it up tomorrow. hoping for atleast 270-280

Yea I told him they were bent, he said wont cause much off a issue but definitely needs replacing in the future, couldn't really find a price on a new comp wheel and bearing for it. going to speak to bruce about it Monday when I pick the car up, he said if I had upgraded the cooler he could get some decent power out of it
  6. Ok Bruce called me today and said he has found the problem. The tune that's currently in it has corrupted/lost files etc and is causing issue with the boost solenoid witch is causing boost to pulse. He also found a few other minor issues with it and getting a completely new flash tune done! Hoping to get it back Monday afternoon, I'll keep this updated

  8. Hey guys my names toby and im fairly new to the xr6t scene, this is my ba mk1 5 speed xr6t.
  9. Yea definitely going to see if I can get a new comp wheel and bearing done, While I am there ill make sure that there is no housing damage aswell. What would be the cause of the eroded tips? the front wheel looks very dry, im going to get a new oil feed line and inline filter before new gear goes in. Could the bent wheel/shaft play be the cause of such power loss?
  10. Yep can definitely hear the high pitched squeal. Im assuming that the turbo has enough play so the wheel hit the housing and bent its self? Not a mechanic but pretty obvious.
  11. Oh ok my ass was tapping then.... What about the bent blade? would that be the reason why it has no balls on boost
  12. Had another quick look at the car today, found that 1 of the compressor blades are bent and looks like a few chucks off the middle part missing.... surprised this hasnt killed the motor???

No the arm is fairly solid/no play Idle drops down smoothly and the same every time Have not checked cat covertor I was told by previous owner it was tuned at 10ps, Bruce told me he would of tuned it a lot higher when he tunes it,.. But gauge reads 10-14 depending on how sh*t the car runs Can't be re tuned at this stage as Bruce tuned it a "different way" and is awaiting the new software to arrive
  14. Yea I thought that to. I only noticed it as I was removing heat shield. Car is 5 speed. When the cars running (cold start) I can put my finger over the hole and can't feel or smell any fumes, also noticed the "actuator?" Has 7 psi sticker on it, don't they run 6 stock?
  15. Any chance I can bring it to you guys in for a quick going over/opinion? I know the manifold will need to be welded/replaced but im just unsure if that is were my other 100kw has gone
