Hiya guys, new to the forum! I've been talking to James (QTRMILE) a fair bit lately about a couple of things, and promised him I would join and present a couple of ideas. Just so you know up front, I am one of the LS1 guys he has been talking to, so I hope you don't mind me intruding! First up, James has been at me about custom tunes, so I suggested a tuner from Perth. I'm not sure what the rules are regarding the posting of comercial links/business names on this forum so I'll leave that for the moment. This tuner has custom edited my car and a few others up here, and the difference is unbelieveable . As James has already said, he will be willing to travel up again if we can get enough cars and, like I have said, it's worth it. I can post rwkw figures if you like to give you an idea, plus tell you about a few other side benfits from an edit. For the record, I am not affiliated with this tuner nor stand to gain anything from it - I'm just one very satisfied customer. Anyone interested? The second thing I would like to mention is I was one of the organisers of LS1 vs The Rest Streetcar Drag Challenge which was held on the 29th of July. We are doing this again on Friday 28th October at Hidden Valley, and I would like to invite you guys along to join in the fun! The formula we use is very simple, evens out the field, and makes for a lot of fun. To give you an idea, Festiva's (with one being driven by a lady in her first ever street meet) won two of the prizes up for grabs. You will be made most welcome, and it would give the LS1 guys a chance to meet a few BA owners and talk cars. It's something we have been wanting to do for ages, but haven't known how to catch up with you guys until now. Also, James beat me in the one heads-up race I have had with him, but I think tyre smoke, over-enthusiam and a crap 60ft from me might have had something to do with it - either way, he beat me fair and square, so good on him! If you are interested, I can tell you a little more, and tell you the reasons why we have the Challenges in the first place. Anyway, the next street meet is this Friday night, so if you are free, come along, wander down to the pits if you aren't competing and say gidday to the LS1 guys - we would love to meet ya's!! cheers guys Tony (Nawdy)
