  1. Hi guys. I am getting married on the 3rd of november 2007 and we have decided that we are going to use the T for the wedding car. But as we have a wedding party of ten in total we required another two cars. I would like to get two mercury silver t's if I can so that they are all the same color. If anyone can help out it would be graetly appreciated. Also we are willing to pay for your services on the day. Thank you Steve. Not sure if I have put this in the right section sorry if it is not.
  2. When I fitted mine I cut a bit of the back of the pod for the terminals to go through you cant see it when it is installed. I also had a bit of trouble finding a 90deg elbow for the vac/boost line to conect to as it would not fit straight on there was not enough room I ended up having to get a bsb thread elbow and retaping it to npt thread as they are very similar anyway. the npt elbows I could find were all to big. But it is in now and looks awsome. I love it.
  3. you can get a vac/boost 20psi cobalt I have one in my car. If you are getting the mechanical one there is a little bit of modifaction required for it to fit into the tripod but it can be done. The tripod is desinged for electrical gauges. The tripod is an excellent product. It looks like a factory part it has a great finish and reasonably priced. I am very happy with mine.
  4. I have installed cobalt gauge in mine and it is a bit brighter than the dash gauges. It does dim with the dash dimmer. but is brighter than the dash all the way through the range.
  5. They mount on the bottom of the glove box at the back. There is a how to on installing them I think it is on fordmods.com.
  6. just had all my ducting off and at the ends of the crossover where the ducting attaches all the paint had stuck to the ducting and flake off when I pulled it apart. Could of very easily gone down into the turbo so I ended up pulling all the ducting out checking it out and cleaning all the paint off the ends of the crossover. So when removing the ducting be very carful.
  7. just replaced mine and one of the ducts that goes to the crossover is a different size to the crossover. So it was a tight fit on the crossover and a loose fit on the duct. Its a crap set up why not make it all the same size.
  8. anyone in the gold coast/brisbane area that has one that I can check out or is the a retailer that stocks them in this area? Also there are no prices listed on the website
  9. I have seen an aftermarket pod and it just didnt seem to fit properly and it just looked like a cheap add on the color was different too it also had plugs in it I guess this is where the screws are to hold it down. I just figured that the fpv one would sit properly and look alot better. IF you know of any aftermarket ones that fit really well and look good then let me know I would interested.
  10. any idea of anyone with a f6 that is willing to be the middle man so that I can get a pod for my t?
  11. I cant believe all these DO GOODERS wanted a minutes silence for a CONVICTED DRUG RUNNER.
  12. Took mine to dominelli after hearing the clunk they drove it around the block then ordered me a new diff. They rang me a couple of weeks later when it was in and installed it for me. The new one has been ok so far for about 2000klms. Very happy with their service.
  13. mine was built mid 2004
  14. Thanks for that.
  15. Saw some photos of a stock intercooler of a XR6T on this thread and it had a ford sticker on the top. I looked at mine and it has a FPV sticker with a part no and serial number on it can anyone tell me why? Does this mean it is a Typhoon cooler?
  16. Thanks Darren have sent a PM
  17. Saw on a thread that there are some BA manuals around on CD asked TURBO4LT but doesnt have a burner at the moment if anyone else has it could you please let me know. Thanks
  18. Mine is an ex cop car from dubbo. Has Upgraded brakes, leather interior and premium sound. I have no idea why a cop needs leather interior and premium sound.
  19. Have you got it all installed and working? If so how did it go. Is the DVD player and the IVSC-5502 all that you needed or did you need a Pal to NTSC converter as well or is this done in the IVSC-5502. Any details on how you did it would be great. Thanks Steve
  20. I am researching putting a dvd player into my XR6T. If have the premium sound system. I spoke to a local incar entainment place and they quoted my $1500 but I am sure there has to be a cheaper way of doing it. I have read that the Screen is Ntsc so will I need to get some sort of Pal to NTSC converter. I have also read that there is some inputs where the tissue box is. Can I plug straight into this. I also look at the Aux input. Does the sound have to go thourgh this input or is it via the plugs where the tissue box is. Thanks Any info on this topic would be graetly appreciated. Also if anyone nows of a DIY page that would be great.
