I managed to install mine without removing the ICC it is a bit of a mission to get your hand up there but it can be done from the drivers foot well.

Thanks guys feel much better now. I have bought a termo fan to go on it anyway because in stop start traffic it starts to creep up a bit higher. ebay thermo fan This is the link to the fan I bought its size makes it perfect to fit on the pwr cooler and if you are limited for room like I am it is only 55mm deep in the centre.

Thought I would post up some pics of the T's that we used for wedding cars. I would like to give a big thank you to jcooke for helping us out on the day with his car. The ceremony was held down on the gold coast at the spit. Thanks again jcooke for your help on the day it's greatly appreciated.

yeah it would be. I am hoping that maybe someone may have a temp gauge on a standard one so I can get an idea of the standard figures.

I dont know what the temps were before the cooler install I put the gauge in after the cooler

I have installed a PWR transmission cooler and bypassed the radiator completely. I have a trans temp gauge and the temp sits between 150F and 170F. I am fairly sure that the temp sensor is on the return line from the cooler so this should be a good indication of the trans sump temperature where the gauge is suppose to be mounted. Is this a normal range. Thanks

yeah I saw the pwr one on the net they are only down the road so I am going to get a price on monday but I think they will be a bit out of my price range. Thanks for the input.

Have just done a service on my T and the radiator is buggered and its leaking. I have priced a new one from ford and they are reasonable but I dont want to buy the same radiator and have the same problem in another 60,00klms time. I have looked though the forums and there is plenty about coolant getting into the trans but I do not have this trouble because I have bypassed it. But I can not find anything about decent replacements. If anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve.

I saw a blueprint with the boss 460 sticker on the sides of the bonnet bulge in ormeau. Is it a aftermaket package or something.

garmin make a gps unit that can be used with the blaupunkt interface unit to be displayed on the icc screen. A reversing camera can also be plugged in. Gold Coast Car Sound Gave me a price. It was just over a $1000 for the gps and blaupunkt unit all installed. Then plus a reversing camera I didn't get a price on that. Garmin P/N is gvn52pau and is about $800. Apparently it is a new system out. It is just a black box so there is no screen or anything it is designed to run of existing screens and has a RF remote so it is all controlled buy the remote control. I haven't got the unit yet but am hoping to soon once the funds allow.

option audio have a screen that is already mounted in a headrest that look very similar to the xr ones. One screen has the dvd player in it. (this screen filps up and the dvd goes in behind) and the other screen just runs off that dvd. So all is required is to put in the headrests run some power to them then run a cable for the dvd unit to the other unit. It is about 700 for the pair. They also have extra video and audio out so you could play it on you front screen too if you had a converter. I havent got them myself but have done a bit of research and people that I have spoken to seem happy with them.

Has anyone else had this VDO unit installed did the screen being offset ever get sorted out. Looking in to getting one. So any help would be great. Thanks

I m fairly sure it tells you in the maual how to add and remove keys from the system. It also tells you how to do the remote. But you need to get a key cut first.

Because I was unable to get any merc silver t's locally we have decided to try and get two blueprints instead. Jcooke has already said that he is able to help me out on the day. If there is anyone else that is able to lend a hand in the gold coast brisbane region it would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to pay for your services on the day. That whole unit with the two buttons in it just pops out well that is how I got mine out. the surrond actually holds the buttons in place mine surrond broke and did the same thing. So all that needs replacing is the surround by the sound of it. If you get down under the steering wheel you can see up behind there and see the back of the switches.

I agree it is sad that he died but the whole reason he was at that place at the time in the scuffle is entirley because he was not doing the right thing in the first place. There may need to be some thing done about how the police treat prisoners but if he hadn't of done anything worng in the first place he would not have been in that situation. that's just my opinion anyway.

I have a mate that works for ford and he told me that it is a regular occurance. I have fitted a seperate trans cooler for this reason. Sorry to here but yeah there are a lot of people out there that this has happened to. Apparently something in the radiator cracks and causes coolant to ento the trans fluid.

As far as I am concerned if you dont do anything to draw the attention of the police in the first place you will have no problems. They dont just go and grab random people and put them in lock up. They have done something to get there in the first place.
