  2. hey at least they are getting you a new car mine had scratches on it when I picked it up and the best they would do is give me 1000 back scratches meaning that they where down to metal ah well what can ya do. oh and they tried to touch up acid rush with a paint brush go figure.

  8. I had cold air intake and it made a flutter then I installed a bigger front mount and it fluttered better you just have to get the boost up then stop gassing it
  9. there a company called airbagit. the sell front strut assemblies for commodores and falcons. the strut replaces the whole from mac strut on the front. the rear could be done two ways....either by removing a couple or leaves from the spring pack and running a bag on top of the spring u may need to run tramp rods if u want that to prevent axle tramp if your running high hp. or you could go all out and get a 4 link set up. I guy I work with just bought a complete setup including coilover shocks for 1750 from macdonald brothers racing. with out the shocks the price was only like 750 for all the four link hardware. 4 link would be the better option as it would make the car handle heaps better. my utes goin in for a 35mm drop in the front and 55mm in the rear. im also haveing polyair springs fitted so I can still throw a load in the back and not drag the ass on the ground.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree 4 link is the way to go but shop around heaps more work shops are getting into it.

  15. can you get the territory with either the e gas motor or the xr6 turbo motor or even better the typhoon motor not interested in people doing the conversion just want to know if yo order it can you buy it I know you cant by the rtv with the turbo motor. also what are the current trade in prices for an 03 turbo ute with 20k on the clock rough estimates.

  19. being a refrigeration mechanic y trade dosant bother me bout the cfc licence and now that it has all changed and I have the gold licence alls good for fully qualified people ford under charge there cars for a reason as when the engine bay gets hot a hot day it tends to boil the oil in the ac system there for raising preasures and can trip out on high head pressure/ discharge preasure which will drop the clutch out and the ac wont work untill the presures equalise this will keep happening producing short cycling and damaging the a/c pump. as for using a diff gas the oil in the system is designed for R134a and so is the pump seals but for the price of R134a why would you bother changing gas it's one of the most inexpensive gases out there. so back to the topic if anyone wants there a/c's gassed I do any car not just ba's give me a pm and well sort it out.
  20. sorry just add this but yes it will launch and you will notice it I seen the kit advertised on ebay and was thinking about giving it ago but I thought the 4 11's might be to much. but prove me wrong
  21. from past 4 11's will make a huge difference prob only feesable if you were gonna drag you car all the time, it will rev its *beep* off on the free way
  22. you dont need irs you can just put the air bag on top of the leaf spring but this wont achieve the on the ground look 7000 seem really steep considering you can get the kits for 1700 to 2500 depends on what valves you want

I have seen a white au ute with air bags in the ass but that is easy to do I got talking to him and ya cant put them in the front with out major work with the gas axe in the engine bay but if ya really interested get onto a minitruck forum there are heaps of people that do it or would want to do it these guys love fabrication. I was gonna do it with my rodeo but thought id get some power under the bonnet
