ok people I know its not a xr6 but I have a xr8 ute which I'm superchargine I have been offered a 6 speed auto it is currently a 4sp so here it is how much is involved eg do I need an adapter plate even though they do use the same blocks and never have changed hem also the computer will need to be changed as well and what does this do to the icc as I have premium sound does it lock any of this out and is it a relativly trouble free conversion? dont mean to be harsh with the topic description just seems there are alot of people who like to know it all but actually put a tool in thier hand they know f*ck all.
its pretty common on the utes man my stock turb done it ten got it repaired and worked now I have an xr8 same thing but she has been fixed easy as to do one of the easiest diffs
I brought one guy said the same thing was reset tried to load it in my car and no go best bet mate try it if it dosnt wor send it back to capa they wil reset it to your computer fr 50 bucks then send it back for 20 bucks total cost you guessed it 70 bucks and a bg grin on your face.

Isn't the intercooler's effectiveness halved? Lookes like it's half covered up... ← read my other post it was installed for looks I never wanted my ute to be a drag car 260kw at the wheels is good enough for me if you wanna install one cut the bar out I chose not to. and it worked I could get 300 out the ute with the way my cooler was set up but the auto would not handel the torque and beefing up the auto is not currently in my budget.
hehehhe I see u raided a work site. the sign in the background. see the good thing about mine is that I removed the black strip and opened the area more for more air. plus fully sik. power wise I donno wot im running. havent dynoed it yet ← many a druken night and many a sign gone any one opeing a construction company pm me and I'll sell ya some signs. as for the cond pipes I just brought new fittings and made some up so it routed a bit different but dont think I have any picks as for air flow I dunno just looks cool taking up the whole bar I'm not going any where ast 270 @ the wheels so I'm happy for it to stay like this.
nah the cond pipes are easy to by pass well that is being a fridgy I deal with this sh*t al the time heres my pics I ran the pipes into the existing ones

Dave ← yes I know that.Carry it in your pocket or hide it really well is what I'm saying.locknuts wont put them off if they can find the key.smashing them off is noisy,not what they want. ← lock nuts dont do anything try a 9/16th socket or equivelant and wack the f*ck out of it in the lock nut and turn with a ratchet and bobs your uncle lock nut comes off. had to do it when I lost my lock nut key.
