  1. I think this is what you are after. Did mine a while ago, but from memory it wasn’t quite right… I ended up lining it up and slightly adjusting the hole location before I cut it out.
  2. Yeah, filter was replaced around 2 months ago, and the car is also is running green top injectors.
  3. Hi Guy’s, I had a set of atomic valve springs , X-Force front section and also a custom tune done last week. The custom tune was set to run 13psi max. Driving around last night, I noticed that as soon as you put the boot in, it spike’s to 14psi momentarily then comes back to and holds 13psi all the way. Is the1 psi spike anything to worry about? It also does it on my 11 psi tune, spikes to 12psi then drops back to 11psi.
  4. In response to question. Ive been "stung " many times. Never again. I also use chiptorque.
  5. I noticed a weird noise from the fuel tank on the weekend. When you turn the ignition on you can hear the fuel pump turn on, build pressure then turn off. As soon as it turns off there is a weird bubbling /gurgling noise for a few second. Is this normal? I thought it may be low fuel , so I went to the servo and put 40 litres of fuel in it and the noise is still there. Am I up for a new pump shortly?
  6. Im looking at buying some 18’s off a BFII for my BA. Will it look ok.Does anyone know of the ride height will change by much? Will I need to get it lowered ? Will it look like a monster truck ? Do the BFII have different springs in them than the BA to compensate for the move from 17’s to 18’s ?

Hi, Ive got a MY99 with 21,000k on it. Had it since new. Great little car. Main things to look for Look out for noticeable bottom end engine Knocks, usually big ends bearing, (Not good !!), they will have some slight knocking (engine cold) due to piston slap, that’s normal. The gearbox is fairly strong and will hold around 180 -200 kw atw, normal street driving. (Start launching and it’s a different story) The diver’s side tappet cover banks are inherent to seeping oil, generally around the rear spark plug. Be aware that timing chain needs replacing at 4 years or 100K ( $650 by Subaru) The MY98 do not have the issue with the air flow meters. That’s a good thing !!! Take it for a drive and make sure the gearbox feels normal. You will soon know if its had a hard time or not by the way it shifts. They run around 13-14 PSI boost stock. There are heaps of cheap parts around if you want to modify slightly. Completely different car to drive than a XRT.
  8. BA - Apr 04 , Just hit 40K, No major issues so far.
  9. Currently sitting on 14.0L/100. All city driving.
  10. I think your close to the mark. $28K-$31K

  12. If you want to keep the "factory" look, go the F6 cooler.
  13. Hi Guy, Spayed it up on the weekend, works well. Thanks for the info
  14. I had the same problem with my Rex a while back. It was a faulty O2 sensor.
