Ah k. Well na doesn't have one of those. Yet. Sounds like it prob should. Gee why didn't ford get this simple stuff right first up. Ive had car for year and its been back twice for warrenty work and now looks like a 3rd. My mrs and couple other people I know have mazda 3s from new and haven't had one prob and my mrs car has over 100k on it. Oh well my car is much more fun I guess if you're gonna play you're gonna pay

This is after degreasing it then taken for a 10 min drive. Does it look like its coming from timing cover or sump? Does it usually start leaking this bad in a matter of weeks since it wasn't leaking a month ago when got serviced.

Oil leaks from timing cover? If its a common problem from factory would ford still repair it even though couple months out of warranty?

Its a 2011 fg xr6t manual. Is there any common areas a 2011 would leak? Its just weird it has started so suddenly. Bit annoyed I thought I have finally bought a car new enough to not leak on driveway. I was wrong haha

I noticed a couple drops of oil on the ground yesterday. Had a look under and it appears to be coming from front of sump, oil filter area. Car got serviced only a month ago and oil leak wasn't picked up. Thought filter might have been loose so tightened it a bit but today there is another drop of oil. Car just ran out of warrenty last month. Any ideas?

Yeah no leaking or anything. belt and pully seem to be fine. Not loose or anything and its turning the pully ok. mainly just wanted to check if it could be a warrenty fix because if its not if rather fix it myself and not have ford rip me off.

fluid is full. just whines real bad and no steering when revs are low.

Hey guys. I have lost power steering. It still works if I rev it over about 2g. It also makes a loud whine sort of like a super charger haha. Is this problem common? My car runs out of warrenty in couple weeks do you think it could be replaced under warrenty?

I wouldn't give up my manual fg for an auto even if it was 5seconds quicker. Manual so much more fun. my mate wishes he bought a manual now after driving mine. But I guess its what you want to do. get good times down the quarter or have fun driving around. 0 to 100 about the same anyway if you're driving around street. just takes more skill in manual;) Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk

Ford fixed the seat and replaced gear knob. they also replaced diff bushes and also tail shaft because they said it had two much play in it or something. is this common or is it because I drive my car pretty hard haha? Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk

Went to ford yesterday and is booked in to get it fixed under warranty. im also getting the gear knob replaced because the leather is loose. when I was buying this car a squeaky seat n loose leather on gear knob were the last problems I was looking for haha. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk

My driver seat has started squeaking a little and is driving me crazy. I love everything about the car its a shame this little issue is what is the most annoying. what is eflex? I only really drive it on weekends but was thinking about getting 98 tune aswell for when I go trips away on long trips is this posible? Would I have to completly drain my tank of e85 before put 98 back in? Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk

hey guys. Got my car serviced couple weeks ago for first time since I got it. They said the coolant level was low but they pressure tested it and found nothing wrong. About a day after I got it back I was driving it pretty hard and when I got home coolant was coming out of the under side of the plastic coolant tank. enough to clearly see it dripping off and making puddle on ground. The next day the coolant Level was pretty much spot on so I thought it was just that the mechanic filled it up too much and it was releasing some and it didn't leak again till couple days ago it did it again. Now it has stopped leaking again. Where could it be coming from and what could cause this. Does the plastic water tank have some sort of pressure release valve or something? seems to be leaking from under the tank you top up with coolant. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk

Yeah sounds like its axle tramp. so its the tyres hopping on road? No way to fix this? maybe some sh*tter tyres so it just wheel spins instead haha Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
