If the Siemens 60lb DEKA are different from the 60LB Mototron, i appologise, I Believed they were the same (they look it).. These ones are the Siemens 60lb Deka danny
2.
Can these injectors be used for low power say 270- 310 or are they just for massive power? as i might be keen aswell.
yep as soon as i put mine in, thats what i'm gonna tune mine to, as i havent done my bottom end.. danny
3. Cool, well, looking at the injectors, it has siemens deka stamped into the plastic, what appears to be a serial number, and a "107961", there is no Mototrons stamped / printed on it, i just assumed they were the same? And according to one of your posts with part numbers, it seems this is the one.. Part Number Number Stamped on Injector Injector Type Body Type Distance o-ring to o-ring Static Flow Ibls/hr @ 300 kPA Static Flow cc/min @ 300 kPa Coil Resistance (ohm) Impedance Spray Pattern FI114961 107961 Deka IV Long 60.4 mm 63 660 12 High 30 degree Cone Danny.
4. Yeah, however long it takes to get 10 people onboard. If we find we get closer to the 15 or 20 set mark, he said there could be further discounts But, he did say, 10 sets were available straight away Dan.
5. So far the list stands as Evil F6 ForcedXR6 need 10 sets to get $75 each price each
6. ok, i just recieved confirmed, if we purchase 10 sets , it will be $75 per injector EACH thats $450 for a set of 6 injectors !!!!!
7.
Are these  muliti orifice injectors
the injectors have a 30 degree 4 port spray pattern. dan
8.
Frgive my ignorance but are the motortron the same as the Siemens deka injectors. I'd be putting my hand up for that price.
yes.. edited first post to reflect :) danny
9. Hi Guys, As some you already know, i purchased some 60lb siemens deka mototron injectors, at $85inc each for my turbo. These are rated at 60lb/hr (630CC/HR) @ 300kpa. With the xr6turbos 400kpa preasure, these would be good for approx 450rwkw Thinking of the forum members, and how there's always a number of group buys going on, i enquired about a group / bulk purchase. He suggested a good target would be 60 injectors (10 sets), however i am also looking at purchasing a few more for myself. As the $85inc price is already excellant on comparison to injectors online at $121inc each (110ex), I trying to get them for at least $30 off a set of 6 cheaper.. So thats $80inc each. Plus postage which i imagine wouldnt be anymore than $15 aust wide(will need to check) Can I have a show of hands on who is interested in a group buy? Danny.
10. So where do I find this deadening stuff from bunnings? What section is it in, and whats it called? or do you recommend dynamat instead ? dan..
11. Its not even available to US yet.. It was only released at the SEMA show which as you know is like now... dan.
12. as you know, the ZF trans has its ECU mounted inside the trans itself. From what I understand, they have to develop a flasher unit for the trans. You can however, make the ZF shift firmer by telling it the cars producing more torque but yes, you dont have the control over it like you do with the 4 speed, as that's controlled by the pcm.. d.
13. I thought he looked weird? d
14. Hey Simon, Count me in for one of those seminars.. I was at the HP-F training session when jerry was in australia, but I was only tuning the v8's then. But since owning my turbo, As I told you, this is the first BA turbo I've tuned, and I've learnt a hell of a lot from it. (although if you look at your dynos logging, afr wasnt totally flat..) on another note.. I thought the Datalogger and Excalibrator 2 were the same product.. They are in the US.. Is the Datalogger a flash disabled Excalibrator 2? Danny.
15. how do I get one to hook upto my turbo??? That is the question!!! D.
16. Yeah.. I was thinking along those lines anyways.. just gotta get myself a 4ch amp to power up the front bastards first might make the 12mm mdf brackets first.. Got a tracing router bit, so I might make a number of them if anyone else wants any.. dan.
17. Its never gonna happen on the Ford pcm.. Dicks RT is a eprom emulator.. requires the pcm to have a eprom.. The blackoak has half its data stored internally in the mpc, and half in a external flash. The Spanish oak (BF's), the data is stored entirely in the mpc. no chance of a eprom emulator here. Ford VCM? 2 week?.. can't wait.. D.
18. Ohh, and on the Vin Locking bitching... As I Personally know jerry, I asked him, why dont they have a "hptuner style" all you can eat workshop priced at xxxx grand... his response simply was "SCT is our day job.. Hptuners have a day job"... Which brings a valid point. Their R&D needs to be paid for somehow. If it wasn’t for Capa approaching SCT and investing their time and money to save us ford drivers in Australia..... What else would we have? Interceptors? d.
19. The Ford PCM is long way from being Real-time capable. Not saying its impossble. But the internal operations of the Ford PCm make it very difficult to do such a thing. The GM stuff isnt "fully real time" capable either.. read the fine print. they can only have X amount of data in the RAM at any one time. The Flash routines are all internal to the ford, the GM requires you to upload a loader to do such things. This allows you to customise a loader to behave anyway you want. (obviously with matching modifications to the main code to refrence a table in ram instead of flash memory) d.
20. depends, if you remove icc, its easier to hook onto the ciggy lighter loom.. otherwise, I guess the tcc button would be a goer.. personally I like removing the icc as I can nicely run my cables / vac line to avoid it rubbing on any metal part of the dash.. :> danny.
21. need to pull ICC out, and run the stuff down the back, make sure none of your wires chafe on the metal supports so they dont cut and short out.. If you wired it up like I did, you should have 3 wires.. Power, Gnd, and Illumination dimmer. I used the ciggy lighter.. GND, POWER, and since the dimming circuit is -VE switching, you connect to that.. So, your illumination needs the +ve going to the other illumination side. If you hook it up the wrong way, you will have Dim guages when the dash is full bright, and your guagesw ill be brightest when the dash is dim (oppisite) of course in my case, there is a 4th wire, which goes out the firwall the same gromit as the auto shifter cable uses (passinger side footwell).. danny.
22. is the T - Piece not pushed on properly? or is it one of those "stepped" t pieces which allows for multi sized pipe? d.
23. where were the tweeters mounted if the crossover was in the door? is it hard running "better" speaker wire through the gromet to the doors?? what thickness ply/mdf did you use? danny.
24. what gap are the sparkplugs ? 1.1? or .9 ? personally, I'd gap them to .9 - 0.85
25. not so close to the BOV.. move away from it about 1 - 2 CM or so... danny.
