  1. I have a USB based logitech headset.. Its not anything special, but it appears as a second sound and mic device which you can adjust your xfire or teamspeak to use for voice comms. My headset also has mute / volume controls built into it The model I have no longer is for sale, but you could get something like this http://www.logitech.com/en-au/webcam-communications/internet-headsets-phones/devices/4125 or this http://www.logitech.com/en-au/webcam-communications/internet-headsets-phones/devices/6526 The game itself still runs through my normal speakers.. So I have seperate volume controls for each to adjust appropriately. Personally I'm not a fan of running voice and game sound through my headset..
  2. If its the new Late model camira 64 i7, then yes.. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13924_3-57320252-64/intels-newest-lands-in-an-old-standard-commodore-64/ yeh, the x1600 high screens.. Why would you buy a normal dell monitor if you didnt get the high res one??!
  3. multiple monitors.. Initially SLI would only work on a single monitor in a multimonitor setup(the second monitor would switch off).. Obviously NVIdia have upgraded this limitation to SLI only for 2 monitors. Stainless is rich and has 3 dell high res 24" monitors.. So he plays the game with nvidia surround with 3 monitors.
  4. spotted *Beep* aimbot glitching in the gunner position of the attack chopper
  5. 90/10 shocks are harder on the pushdown but quicker to rebound.
  6. Or more importantly you got better tyres to kick that crap 1.78 60foot!!! WTF IVOR?!??? You've gone 1.6 before!
  7. I bought a ATI card for mums PC.. not sure exactly what model, but after it failing 3 times (yes, they put 3 different cards in) and it would still only post 40% of the time, they swapped it out for equivalant priced Nvidia (GTX560ti). That was the first and last ATI video card I ever bought.
  8. His got a Atomic long engine Worm. Put it in for reliability as its his daily.. He didn't want to risk hurting the standard BA engine.. Mind you, his PB on his original BA engine was the 11.09 as per his Signature.
  9. Congrats ivor.. GREAT SUCCESS at last.. lol especially with such a lazy 60foot compared to what you've done in the past with the old setup.. AWwwwwwwwwwww I just posted that on Ramona's facebook.. This car is a bit of a workshop whore lol, its been to a number of workshops in its past, as ivan would admit, some with good results, some with bad results. But none the less, its taken quite a bit of effort to get to this point, and due to the sh*t 60 foot, its proof there is at least 3 tenths more in it with its current power levels. It would have done a 10 with the std airbox given previous attempts. I tried to convince ivan to change the std turbo out when the previous one failed....(he does have a built motor for one..) but yeah... His got his eyes set on a diamond ring With a decent set of tyres and a sticky track, I'm sure this PB will be beaten..
  10. I'm running BF3 with a $280 video card(GT560 TI) (2 in fact) but, I dont really think the 2nd one is making much difference overall..
  11. shyfrd, What settings do you run on your single 580?
  12. Consoles aren't made for FPS ... Unless of course you can use a usb mouse! I bought modern warfare, played it for 10 minutes, now there's more dust on that than my BA. BF3 for the PC FTW Just ask *Beep*, he hax
  13. Typically they would not know you have GPS Tracking unless you told them.. Thing is as well, the unit only logs position information every so many minutes, It doesn't do a continual data logging show your exact speeding patterns. It will however report speeding above 100km/h (defined setting)..
  14. We have a large number of company fleets. Private car enthusiast isn't our main focus, Infact what we've found is exotic car owners are not interested in it, they would rather a insurance payout if it goes missing.. But we don't say no to it. There isn't any insurance benefits with Australian insurance companies. But I think this will change soon. Insurance companies in other countries are install gps based systems not for theft recovery, but to view usage patterns, and billing customers as appropriate based on, Frequency of use, as well as maximum speeds etc..
  15. In Risk of getting this deleted for advertising, I'll include information that does not cost benefit us. As for costs mate.. Its can be done quite cheaply if you want. You can go as simple as getting a gps tracker from ebay, but be very warned... THEY ARE sh*t, and they lock up when you possibly need them the most! More importantly, they are not A-Tick'd, so they are illegal to operate in Australia with any carrier! They all require a sim card.. Self monitoring will only cost you SMS's.. It is NOT recommended you put a pre-paid in (you may forget to recharge it when you really need it). Online server reporting will require a sim card with a small amount of data bundled (50mb would be plenty, but must be billed per KB!!) We supply sim cards with the services we offer. We've trialed over a dozen various vendor tracker units, and we have found 2 good ones. One is from China, Meitrack MVT380, the setup software is a bitch, but they seem to be quite a reliable unit. Meitrack also sell a cheaper / older unit, the VT300, or VT310, which every other chinese GPS vendor has copied. The Meitrack VT300/310 unit is the original The other is from Taiwan, and is not really designed for self tracking (it can be) which is the unit we sell as part of our service. The "Self tracking" unit requires you to phone it, it will hang up your call, and it sms'd you location, obviously difficult to track a moving vehicle. You can even get a speaker/mic, and be able to call it and speak to the occupants... Imagine how funny that would be.. you could speak "Angry" to them.. Forget the Letter! This unit can be setup to connect to a online server (as per pic above), but there is extra costs involved in that, but is better for tracking a moving vehicle. However using reporting features with this unit sucks. You can even wire it upto your starter motor to immobilize it.. It will not stop a moving vehicle, But it will stop them starting it again.. There is legal implications to disabling a moving vehicle. We do have a simple "buddy tracking system" which works similar to apples new "find my buddy" on the iphone.. So you can see where your mates car is .. Or even his Mrs's car ...... LOL! The unit designed more for fleet management, and works perfectly with online servers, as per the picture above. This solution also gives you the ability to do various different travelling reports which is mainly the service we provide to corporate.
  16. LOL! That is a risk we all have with our cars... Risk some low life stealing it or breaking into it.. Or even smashing into it because they were too busy SMS'ing on their phone to notice that you had stopped infront of them! In terms of stolen cars, I know I'd hate to have mine stolen, Sure, its insured, but money could not replace it. So this is why I have GPS tracking in my vehicles. Relatively cheap insurance for some piece of mind.. That way I would be able to "write them a angry letter"
  17. No offence guys.. her heads a bit ugly =)
  18. I've got a media pc, its a low power AMD cpu, not gamer spec.. runs onboard HDMI video ffs!
  19. Yeh.. hence the reason why I never really got into Modern Warfare.. played it like once online, and got nailed every 2 seconds... Almost sounds like Hens and Stainless' relationship... I just like the idea I can play on my 55" or even my CRT projector.. too hard moving the pc to the projector I've only got a i7 920, and a 9800GTX
  20. whats gameplay like on ps3? can you use usb mouse/keyboard? I think the ultimate following will be on PC.. Wonder what video card I'd need :( BF2 caused me to spend 2k on 9800gtx in SLI (best at the time)..
