Well.. Due to the many requests via IM's, these injectors are still very popular. There have been a few requests to do another group buy, so heck, Why not.. 60lb Siemens Deka group buy bonanza MKII Now. If you want to see how sucessful the previous group buy was. please click HERE - Last Group Buy The rules. ONLY post if your asking a question, or if your interested in purchasing by putting your name on the list. The last Thread had it all.. "cheap chinese copies", "Local siemens supplier source" etc. A number of workshops australia use these SIEMENS 60lb. I believe one everyone knows is billsta's 422rwkw done by C&V. They do not suffer IDLE problems, or PART THROTTLE problems like some people suggest they do. Americans have been using these injectors for years with no complaints. I even believe the Chev LS8 use the "stumpy" version of this injector. These High Flow injectors have a multi-orifice tip providing a true 30 degree spray pattern for improved mixture preparation. This results in lower BSFC and better idle quality than many injectors with less flow. 1.cole trickle PAID $435 2.Jimbob PAID $435 3.groper x2 set's. Hi I would like to join this years activities. I have both parents consent too.. Where do I buy my tickets?!?!?!?!
-
I can see it now... Another broken down truck in the left lane ... And 5 billion cars behind unable to change lane to risk a fine .... morons.. I swear If I had a 5 year old child, he would come up with a better plan than this.. d.
-
I love it Yesterday, had a bit of a incident with another xr6 turbo.. you know how easily the nizpro kit flutters.. well when I backed off the pedal, he thought I was dropping one next to him.. he booted it, and attempted to drop one as well.. I though, ahh some fun.. got behind him, and at the lights, he took off hard (infront of me), and I pulled out from behind him and passed him like he was standing still.. (before we hit the speed limit of course ...) Pitty his windows were too dark to see the look of shock he would have had on his face :> d.
-
with that much power. he would be smoking them crossed up, and still pulling away
-
that's cute ... that little blush..
-
hahaha.. no doubt traction would be a problem for him... Although mines much like that below 70km/h d.
-
Well, with a bigger turbo, no doubt it'll need more revs before the power starts coming and its obvious by that.. But it would be interesting to see what yours is like now with the eboost.. to see where the differences are Either way.. I cant wait till I push this baby further (with the engine I'm building) although, to start with, it will be still using the std exhaust manifold / turbo.. Not everyone has a money tree danny
-
No. I'm proud of what I've done with my car. the only thing I have not done to this is fit valvesprings. Everything else I did, Cobra kit installation, wastegate port mods and actuator, and Tuning.
-
yuh.. ford pcm knowledge from the start. however mainly it was eec-v, the blackoak was a different monster to understand, and just to kick us whilst we're down, the spanishoak in the bf's changed again, although very close to the blackoak, just much more tables d.
-
definatly would be tyre frying action there I was originally involved in the development with the AU stuff. Which I outlayed a decent amount of money to get various SCT products, and essentially went from there. Primarily I was Jerry's remote hands.. Trying various things in various tables based on what was datalogged to see what each tables did.. It was all fun.. And seeign what these turbos could do, I was rather late on the bandwagon in buying my own.. But I just had to have one d.

lol well initial looking at your power curve indicates your also running approx 16psi coming on boost. although I'm just speculating based on the amount of power at 100km/h (you have 250rwkw at 100km/h, mines around 220rwkw at 100km/h).. So no doubt yours would have much more of a rush coming on boost, which is obviously because yours is running higher boost. But the best thing to do is compare 2 cars which make similar top end power, which both have same boost levels (ideally if the boost is graphhed on the dyno).. that way you will be able to see which one drives better than the other. d.
-
well.. There's more to a dyno graph than the big numer at the top saying how much power a car has.. If you open up 2 graphs side by side (or print them out).. so that both of htem have KM/H speed down the bottom, and KW on the side, you can compare them. Best thing to do is get 2 graphs from 2 auto cars. that way you know your comparing apples with apples. Look at a speed interval on both graphs. Say, at 120km/h.. Look at both graphs, trace that up and see how much power the engine made at 120km/h on both graphs.. Obviously the more at throught the KM/H range (in reality RPM range), the more "Useable power" you have.. Cos you gotta ask your self this.. What RPM range do you normally drive with.. if your a hoon, mainly 4000rpm to 6000rpm.. if you drive like mrs daisy, then upto 3500rpm.. essentially you want more usable power on those ranges.. hope that kinda explains it.. My point being, Dyno is not a indication of drivabilty.. I would say 9 out of 10 people only look at the total KW Figure, dont analyise any thing else.. d.
-
its only when you go wide open whilst the dynos trying to hold the load, you can hear the tyres screeching, and continues for the first few secs of the run.. d.
-
Sweet. Thanks Adam. Its good for a comparison.. Although the dip isnt there on some of the other runs we done last night. It was a little bit of wheelspin as we started the run, as wanted to use 12km/s ramp rate to load the turbo similar to road conditions. Alot of this will be cleaned up when I hit the dyno again. danny
-
Yeah, as I expected. But yeah, Bottom end is my next project which is already in the making <cough> 20psi </cough> with no problems
-
She is Yeah I got that sms. although my tuning is not finished yet Its definatly a good thing being able to tune my car, cos that way, I know what I've done In comparison.. How much boost was that tune running? its definatly fatter in the lower range compared to mine, but Im suspecting its running approx 16psi? I'm somewhat limiting myself to 14psi at this stage(on this motor.. I've got another short that's half finished, but that's for another time another thread ). d.

First of all, I would have to give a BIG THANKS to Mario from autotechnique for staying after hours so I could use his dyno. Now for the business.. We actually printed out the wrong dyno sheet, as this run was cut short at 155km/h (not 180km/h, there was about 1000rpm to go) As you can see, the power did go over 310rwkw, but not by much, it started rolling over. There is by far still more tuning left in this car. BUT, I dare you to do something... Open up this dyno sheet, and another dyno sheet from another 300ish rwkw tune.. And compare the power figures at various Speed intervals.. Having a "Big number" at the top of the graph shows nothing about drivability, or how it would preform down the 1/4 mile. Look at the power that is being made at XXX Km/h interval compared to another dyno graph here with the simlar Power, and you will quickly see which cars would go better down the 1/4mile compared to others. eg. Would you rather 220rwkw at 105km/h, or 160rwkw at 105 km/h. There is a hell of a lot more than tuning the big "300rwkw" out of these cars. keep in mind, I have STD exhaust, 60lb siemens injectors, Nizpro Cobra Plenum, Intercooler, Airbox, Valvesprings and battery relocation kit. Anyways, I will keep you posted as I keep tuning further on my car. Danny.

I think your onto something there

Walbro Gss-341 Or Gss-294
Headsex replied to ford number 1's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
Both have been used.. The most solid specs I can find is the 341/342 is 255l/h, and rated for 3BAR fuel presure. the 294 is 180l/h and rated at 5bar fuel presure. Keep in mind the xr6turbo runs 4 bar fuel presure base, and with 15psi boost, equals 5bar fuel presure.. Given the specs above, who knows what the 341 flows at 5bar.. could be more than 180l/h, could be as less... Who knows? Its not hard to work out which one I'd be using.. If you havent already worked it out, its the gss-294. Having the bigger opening, and the 90degree filter which sits FLAT on the bottom of the swirl pop is a added bonus. Danny
