Hi, I tune my own car as everyone knows, and I am having this problem, I can't relate on how my tuning is firstly effecting my tyres? I think you have brought up a valid point which needs to be addressed with your tuner.. When you find out please let me know what the fix was.. I might have to return it back to standard

There is various ways to make the auto shift better.. Combination of Ramp Speed, Ramp Timing and Ramp Presure, and overall box presure. Alot of tuners are basing their shifting from the capa generics and going from there... Problem is, the Ramp Timing is too fast, and can lead to downgearing from 2nd to 1st causing compression lockups... Obviously not a good thing in the box.At the end of the day, Performance mods void any warentee you have with ford, and cause all sorts of component failure and unreliability. The vehicle was not engineered to handle the power your tuner has released for you, so you cannot hold them responsible for you not upgrading your auto to suit the power levels.. Out of all the cars I've tuned, only 2 have munched standard boxes.. Ironically both those cars had full nizpro kits on them.. Might say something about the power curve having a direct relation to breaking plantery's.. However, none of the boxes I've tuned have started slipping. that's a sign.. friction material is loosing its bite..

Your c3 clutchs are burnt out. Depending on how many km you cars done pre mod makes a big difference.. Chances are it was already worn 80% and the increase in torque finished it right off Also sad truth is your gearbox is also in the hands of your tuner... he can make it last years or he can make it last 1 week.. Turn torque reductions during shifting off and not setup ramp rates and ramp presures will see your box have a short life by wearing out the clutches as yours has.

I'm gonna disect the coil pack later to see whats inside multimeter showed it was the same as the others.. so obviously was a break down in the coil under load..

Hi Guys, I've had various people come to me asking how my car blew up... So I'm gonna tell you all IT DIDNT BLOW UP However, in saying that, I did have a problem.. Without caring of trying to diagnose it, Hey, I was going to FIJI, I left it.. Until now.. The Problem was it was missing, At idle, accelerating. prodominantly whilst it was under a little bit more load than idle.. First step -> Inspect spark plugs plugs.. They were fine.. Changed them anyways Problem still existed... Second step -> Change Coil packs (thanks bdazla).. Borrow 6 of his coil packs What do you know.. Problem is gone We can swapped 2 in at a time to try and isolate which coil pack is faulty.. Found it.. I know I've told people there's something wrong with my car, but Never once did I mention I've thrown a rod out the side of the block like that's gotten back to me, It was only a small "miss" which was there the whole time.. Infact, it was a big miss.. So thanks to My lover, Dynowog, who had a second hand coil pack (prob one from a engine that he blew up ) I am now back on the road
