  1. This is half the reason I didnt wanna post it until I back it up with a timeslip... Lets hope it lasts the 10 odd seconds to MAKE a timeslip Yes Blueboost ran 10.96 on a stock bottom end. Very similar mods to mine I believe... I'm unsure if anyone else has ran quicker..
  2. Well the built engine I've got in my garage is out of Marios old Ute, being one of the first nizpro engines.. I Believe may be similar spec to Robins.. (Yes one of the noisey ones.. But who cares), Still need billet oil pump gears... Anyone wanna buy them for me?? LOL I was quite surprised the difference shell100 made in itself.. Certainly I dont think that power is achievable on 98 with that boost level.. And yes.. Traction is VERY good.. Lets hope the rain doesnt ruin it!
  3. So.. your car gets headsextuned, and I get stifftuned?

  4. If you look back, you will see I kept out of it. Knowing all well it was possible!
  5. Yes. although my convertor isnt as loose as yours.. can only get approx 2600rpm on the brake.. Yours would possibly be loosing more through the convertor
  6. Yes.. Surprisingly 1st to 2nd on slicks is still holding up.. Looks like all the play time at bayswater autos paid off..
  7. Ohh and we tried 1 more degree to break 400.. But listening in via the knock box said no... :(
  8. Last friday is when I had the 378rwkw tune.. I got there.. got the number on the car and all, then they cancelled it.. Since I've paid I'm running this friday!! as long as it dont rain!
  9. So.. A number of people know of my recent activities @ calder park.. 11.4 @ 121mph.. Put it on the dyno, and it made 330rwkw So I decided. Lets push this baby. Filled her up with Shell 100.. And pushed the boost upto approx 17psi on a Street Tune. Ironically I found the timing I was running @ 15psi with 98oct fuel (which made 330rwkw) is very similar to what I ended up with MORE boost! Here is my "street tuned" dyno sheet (Driven straight onto the rollers) With a little bit of playing on the dyno, I cleaned up the AFR's. Power remained the same as I did not push any more boost or timing. Now.. I got bored again today.. So Mario (Autotechnique) allowed me to put it on the dyno. Mario and Dave pulled a number of jokes out today about the longevity of the engine.. Concrete warentee ETC... Was quite a laugh.. But hard to concentrate.. Approx 3 degree's of timing later this is what we got.. Appart from the little boost dip earilier, it holds a 18psi nicely. I didnt want to bring in the boost too hard... But I failed there. To those who are wondering.. YES this is a UNOPENED Stock BA Bottom end with the weak rods. I KNOW I AM PUSHING IT VERY HARD. ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME!! But this is a risk I am willing to take.. I have a spare car. I have a spare engine (well, its not built yet.. But it will be going in with a GT42R) Anyways.. Just some insite on what backyarders can do..
  10. Damn.. Every drop??

  11. Dont swollow ALL my babies!

  12. Calder Park actually have a "SMS" service where they SMS you if its going to be on or off prior. Although on friday, they sent out a SMS at 3:50PM saying its ON and then another SMS @ 4:30pm saying its off due to weather.. I actually called them at 4pm asking them who was smoking what drugs, cos outside my window was pouring rain! Call them up on 9091 0800 and give them your mobile number to go on the SMS notification list (its free)
  13. Yeah.. It was HINRG and I.. And you sure it wasnt Me spoolin it.. not the blue one? I'm pretty sure I saw you too.. R-Spec also saw us in the area somewhere but we didnt see him.. Yeah it was us.. fresh back from Bayswater automatics.. Johnny got his convertor put back in!
  14. Well, as I said eariler, the BF01 STOVL is due for first flight... and it did just that a couple of days ago! Although the picture may look like its photoshopped because the landing gear is down.. LOL I assure you its not. They always fly with landing gear in locked position on their first flights for any possible emergencies. More pictures available from the gallery @ www.teamjsf.com
  15. exhaust leak.. As I said last time you were here
  16. Mate.. These boxes life is determined by the tuner.. there's a fine balance between shift timing, shift presure, and torque reduction! Look at Dion @ dynomite.. 10.2 with 4speed box in a ute (heavier than sedan) My box is otherwise stock with BF frictions(no kevlar), pre BA Plantery's and a few other earlier LE93 components.
  17. Yep the second run I had I was in the right lane but I did creep forward. The 3rd run also in the right lane the stage light started flickering, reversed and come upto it again.. 4.5 second 60 foot from a perfect launch.... I dare say it started timing whilst I was stalling up, I know for fact I didn't creep forward on that run... So close to a 10, but so far.. Need at least another 3mph, which I've calculated is about another 30rwkw or so. There's always next fornight.. Might push boost up 1 psi and see where that gets me...
  18. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys.../f-22-specs.htm Trust with A/B - 35,000 lb EACH ENGINE http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys.../f-35-specs.htm Trust with A/B - 35,000-40,000 lb I like the fact that the F22 has almost twice the "HorsePower" than the F35, which in itself is the most powerful single engine aircraft in itself. As for supercruise capability. that's still classified information.
  19. None of mine neither.. Must have been too fast for Luke oxley!
  20. Looosing all your tune files is the last thing I'd want to happen to me.... One reason why I have backups syncing my laptop tune folder with my main pc, and backup hdd... Its gotta suck huh
  21. lol sure I can put 20psi in with no timing and it wont blow
  22. LOL.. Umm Cos my big banger engine isnt ready to go in.. This is still my stock BA engine... Dont wanna hurt it just yet
  23. Dont worry.. I'm going out there next fortnight again! with 122mph, I'm sure to make my ET better Or, I might even push my tune a little harder Maybe bring the boost upto 17psi
  24. I'm only running 16psi.. the MPH shows it.. I dont believe its got a 10 in it. I do believe there's at least a lower 11.. Considering the 11.4 was a "drive like a bitch off the line with 3psi" type stall up, to get a feel for the track grip on my first run. Although it still cut a 1.76 60 foot My 3rd run I had a awsome launch.. Pitty it seemed like I rolled off the beam during the stall up because I say maybe.. Maybe there was at least a 11.2 there.. Good? Dude, im amazed how stickie it was, I saw 2 cars having box trouble that's how sticky it was. As I said above, its pitty I stuffed up my 3rd run.. because it hooked up like it should hook up Either way, I've got a time slip which says 10.80.. Pitty its the other lane. LOL Good work FSIX :>
