ok guys.. a little bit of a update.. Today christian knocked my door down waking me up 7am in the morning.. Harrop gave him 3 different pulleys to try, We went straight to the biggest one. We calculated it to be a 5.88-6psi pulley (load 1.40 in the datalogger). We managed to be able to put a heap of spark incomparison to the 12psi pulley that the blower came with, although I still have not pushed timing to the edge. The knock sensors on the standard factory gain is only pulling .4 degree's timing out AT MOST(remember earilier I mentioned the standard car/calibration pulled 2 degrees of timing out the whole time). The next plan is to change the clutch, Last night christian had problems with the clutch (with the 4000rpm limitor). And then it goes onto the dyno. Once we do that, we will pull this pulley off, and step upto the next one, and see how that goes. and then the 3rd supplied one. Harrop do want to know what boost they all make. Not quite yet.. Christian only just got 3 pulleys from harrop of different sizes to see what size gives what boost. he has his herrod extractors fitted, and a custom exhaust, which is a little too loud, so his getting that sorted also.

you cannot alter the transmissions line presure on a ZF, you can however alter the torque table which has a effect in ramp speed of the gear change So this may have helped your issue you cannot chagne the 1st gear shift point in the ECU for the ZF, this table is only valid for the 4 speed automatic transmission (if fitted). The ZF has its own internal shift presure ramp tables and shifting tables This is more likely whats fixed your problem.

I confirmed on the weekend that the Shortie Siemens 60lb Deka's fit straight into the FG xr6 turbos. Same square plug and all. The bosch 55lb ones I mentioned earilier, which are the same short size have the USCar EV6 plug, which need loom adaptors for them to work in our FG.

Don't know if your been told poo, either way can be used, ie, shorties, or modified fuel rail. 55lb injectors will see you to 400rwkw easily enough

I think a bit of clarification is needed here.. The standard FG xr6 turbo injectors are shorties.. Deka's do come in shorties, if they fit? yes, Same electric plug? not sure, never used the deka shorties. As for the normal length deka's fitting, I dare say the fuel rail would need to be re-positioned somehow. Of interest, there are also Bosch 55lb injectors available, Brand new, Shorties, which will slot straight in.
