His abs has a fit due to the miss match in rolling diameter between the front and back wheels. As a side effect his dash goes into disco mode. Abs airbag no speedo. And comms failure. Lol

The point being its all of us, one community hiring out a track, and having fun.. Having a drag day based on street racing is gay in my opinion. You might as well just go hit the hwy and "jog" people there. I would love to see a full blown xr6/f6 based drag day, much like how AFF does their drag days. no semi's are street legal, and I'm with Stainless, There's no point having a drag day if people cant use any tyre of choice. the bigger HP cars will not get traction. Also, having it very close to the AFF drag day is not the best idea.. My suggestion would be you attend their meet and see whats going on.. Entry money by participants should be used to cover track hire, and trophies/prize money.. from what I understand, non competitors pay the track for entry, so you cant collect money for non competitors..

I could possibly help out. By I do have a time constraint. Ford forums drag day, the mod (f6mark/spoolman) accepts full payment from everyone who wishes to attend prior to the event with a cut off date.. Would need someone trustworthy to be the person to do this.. People have trusted me in the past with group buys, not that I'm nominating myself for the role. But something that needs to be organized.

Power classes isn't a good idea in my opinion. People can easily cheat. My car only has 250rwkw when I ran a 10... *blink blink*. Fairest is DYO. Or just straight heads up. Easternats style. But typically only a fast car will win that. Either way I'm keen.. Time to bring the old bucket out from hibernation .....

Tony, ford forums already does a ford drag day at heathcote. If you want tips on what to do. How to organise etc search their forum. It's usually a very big turnout. An it's usually a fri night / sat event. Most camp the night.. It's heaps of fun. Can imagine how fun it would be watching a few members here off their guts on the night. Lol As for style of racing its practice first. Then dyo. That way a 8 second car can race a 11 second car and it's upto the best driver really. and there is categories. Which is based on time brackets. Like 8 to 11.99 is one class. 12 to 14.. Etc. I went a few years ago which is when I ran my 10..
