  1. Nice... I'm bookin a ticket to SA... I dont care for the cars.. just the hot bitches
  2. Shuttup man, dont tell everyone I put fords loaner FG XT on the dyno .... BTW, the XT is a 5 speed auto, not a ZF
  3. Yeh. the lazy launch makes it look like its taking a walk in the park, making a coffee, and talking to the mrs on the phone all at once.
  4. What? You bought a VE Conformadore?
  5. A T51R seems to be a good all rounder turbo in my books..
  6. Turbo choice comes down to what you want to do.. Quick street car Dyno queen Drag car
  7. LOL.. Spiko, are we having another moment?
  8. I've got the 1200, with the dash6 fittings.. Does the job well.. As for the 2000 being overkill? Its only going to hurt your pocket with dash8 fittings instead of dash6
  9. Haha.. Sorry, I been wanting to use that again for a while!
  10. Your 60's will be good for upto say 480rwkw, depending on how lean you wanna go high rpm.. However these new range of Injector Dynamics are absolutely Brilliant! Couldn't have come at a better time if you ask me :D Yeah, I'm refering to the B Series of plenums.. The FG one doesnt have the narrow part on entry so to speak.. Plus, I think Xtreme have proved you can push big numbers out of one :D When getting the Fuel Rail, Of course get the aftermarket reg also. You cant really run 2x fuel pumps nicely with the standard reg. I did it for a bit, But it becomes a tuning nightmare :D
  11. Short answer. Yes.. STD plenum hurts top end power. I've seen increases of the likes of 40rwkw by swapping to a plenum, and retuning. I think the std plenum really is good for 360rwkw or so.. Not saying this is the Max power you'll get out of it, But I'd say that's about the point where the plenum starts restricting airflow
  12. Definately makes a difference in the Timing side of things, and the AFR.. However I've got a different issue all together.. lol
  13. And that's at 0.86 lambda too! Good turbo setup huh? Less backpressure = more timing Although in saying that.. that's my timing map from my previous turbo setup.. clearly that load point is 15psi at ~2.0 load. Although in saying that, my load 2.2 and 2.0 load points were the same timing values. I guess the 100 octane United fuel helps a little too, And the fact I've got a aftermarket plenum. I've found some interesting things with the standard plenum I'll share with ya via Email if you wish.
  14. United 100.. Either way, regardless of fuel used, The Load should still calculate the same...
  15. Here's a bootful yesterday.. notice load peaks at 2.05, and then as rpm's rise, it goes to 1.81.. When you do a calculation of boost desired vs error, and convert to psi, you see at say 5400rpm, it had a load of 1.95, but it had 20.27psi of boost Time (sec) AIR_CHARGE_TEMP BOOST_DESIRED BOOST_ERROR LOAD RPM SPARK_ADVANCE SPKADD_AVG_ALL TP_RELATIVE WASTEGATE_DC 337.4 117 27.8 0.00 0.64 2170 31.4 0.000 79 0.94 337.8 117 29.0 0.00 0.67 2306 31.4 0.000 91 0.94 338.2 117 30.9 0.00 0.68 2454 31.6 0.000 92 0.93 338.5 117 31.9 0.00 0.69 2530 31.6 -0.180 92 0.87 338.9 116 32.0 0.00 0.70 2625 31.5 -0.439 92 0.73 339.2 116 32.0 0.00 0.70 2738 31.8 -0.439 96 0.59 339.6 115 32.0 0.00 0.82 2950 31.6 -0.375 343 0.77 339.9 115 32.3 13.11 1.01 3283 30.1 -0.275 584 1.00 340.3 115 33.0 24.07 1.20 3657 25.8 -0.159 584 1.00 340.6 114 34.1 17.35 1.53 4117 18.7 -0.159 584 1.00 341.0 114 36.1 5.71 1.86 4994 14.2 -0.159 584 0.65 341.3 113 38.1 -0.96 1.84 5630 12.9 -0.080 292 0.32 341.6 113 36.4 -0.28 1.67 4747 14.5 -0.159 292 0.67 342.0 112 34.0 1.30 1.87 4076 15.4 -0.318 584 0.52 342.4 111 35.4 2.13 2.05 4621 13.5 -0.318 584 0.20 342.7 111 36.7 1.31 2.00 4970 12.4 -0.318 584 0.36 343.1 110 37.1 0.56 1.99 5136 11.2 -0.318 584 0.40 343.5 109 37.7 -0.01 1.93 5379 10.5 -0.222 584 0.43 343.8 109 37.9 -1.69 1.93 5471 11.8 -0.083 584 0.41 344.1 108 37.7 -2.77 1.98 5438 11.6 -0.040 584 0.27 344.5 108 38.0 -3.28 1.95 5636 13.1 -0.040 584 0.18 344.9 108 38.4 -3.60 1.89 5876 15.1 -0.040 584 0.25 345.2 107 38.7 -2.31 1.81 5886 15.1 -0.179 584 0.29 345.6 107 38.2 -2.54 1.88 5245 19.5 -0.159 292 0.14 345.9 108 35.6 -1.72 1.08 4285 26.6 0.000 0 0.00 346.3 108 33.8 0.00 0.13 3912 30.0 0.000 0 0.00
  16. Sorry, I ment load of 2.2 with 17psi.. and around yeah, 2.1 with 15psi as you said..
  17. Ahh, I dont have those adaptors. I've got little loom ones (Ugly when you see them compared to yours).. So its not such a issue with clearance :D Tuning wise.. My cars been very neglected since the gt42 went on, I've never plugged into it, only checked afr's, and well, instead of commanded like .80 lambda, ive been seeing .86 or something when I ran it up on the dyno. When I installed the gt42, I knew the fuel system needed some love, and the second 044 was only a patch job at the time. I wasnt going to waste time on the tune until that was sorted.. So now that its done, I had done some datalogging... And I noticed something weird.. Previously with like 17psi, I was seeing load of about 2.1 as expected, and of course fueling was right. Now with the GT42, I'm seeing like 20psi, and expected to see 2.3 load.. but no, I'm seeing 1.97 load. VERY Weird.. At least I know why my fueling is off. Now this is with complete untouched Speed density values. Previously I've found any little trimming I've needed to do is at 6000rpm, which I've simply altered via the base fuel table. So right now I'm starting with a fresh tune, I know I did some custom binary manipulation in this tune in regards to a 3.5bar map sensor I was playing with.. So I suspect maybe I didnt clear those settings out correctly when I put the original map sensor in place. Will know futher when I play a little more.. d.
  18. NVYDF6 is in the same office as me.. Prob wondering why im giggling like a girl.. haha
  19. haha. I'm litterally in stiches here
  20. LOL... A little too much Man love
  21. LOL.. this almost sounds like a HUG moment.... Thanks Spiro, But yeah, as I said in your thread the surge tank setup you had sure answered the fuel reg mounting problem I was attempting to solve in my head.. lol Anyways.. Everyone likes a bit of eye candy :D
