Check the position of the Power lead on the starter motor.. The starter motor has like a keyway.. If its not properly aligned, the terminal will not sit flush up against the starter motor, and when you attempt to tighten it up, you will break the lug off the starter motor... = NEW STARTER MOTOR (my mate did it) Second of all, There will be a earth point roughly where the ORIGINAL under battery pipe bolted to the engine bay (behind/below the drivers headlight). My guess is 1) you removed it, or 2) you ripped it off when changing the AVO under battery pipe..

f*cking FAIL! Your supposed to REMOVE THE OLD POWER LEAD that goes from the STart motor UNDER the engine to the fuse box / OLD BATTERY location. AND THEN your supposed to run the NEW nizpro positive FROM the fuse box, UNDER the engine, to the starter motor, TO the new battery location. Clearly its eveident in your picture that you failed. This is ONE reason why I said LET ME FIT THAT. Remove the nizpro battery Power cable, and Fit the original battery back, Put the original power lead onto the starter motor removing the nizpro stuff. Let me do it

Well. Not if its a better cam :D Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but the Stage 4 is Atomics "Duo" staged cams, where each inlet valve is staged.. I'm sure this is contributing to it. And in saying that.. Coming on earilier.. Your "before" cam change was a different tuner too?

Yes. but didn't you also change cam when removing the VCT ? (a question, not an assumption)

Yep.. Both my Terry and XR6T got hammered.. Chances are the XR6T will be written off given its market value.. Mums Mazda 6 lux/sports copped it pretty bad too Johns XR6T was parked on the nature strip.. got hammered, Oh and nearly got flooded, as the water raised upto and past my gate... Lukes VN got hammered too.. We are all insured. but yeh.. its painful! This is after john moved his car.. the Asian dude in his Honda across the road wasn't so lucky... But at the same time, Why would you open your door, parked in that pool of water, when the waters above the door line??? (He was OUTSIDE the vehicle)

Tried taking pics of it, but my paint job is too dark to actually see them.. THe bonnet looks like a golf ball in comparison to the roof.. seems its thinner metal or something.. The roof has larger ones more so.. My territory took a fair beating too..
