  1. Shouldn't have put water into the auto ... lol
  2. says the guy who just bought one....
  3. No problems.. capabilities of this pcm is far greater than any aftermarket ecu I know of.. Controlling it to do what you want is the tricky part 99% of the forum members here won't know WHY you have a shot of the wheel at 250fps.. Its a beautiful tool for chassis tuners! As known in the pro stock world, its all about "wheel speed wheelspeed WHEELSPEED!"... lol But yes... we would love that camera come pro stock day What camera is it?
  4. youtube is a wonderful thing, and the video speaks a hundred words.. And if you read my latest post, you will see the reasoning behind my assumptions. Once all this gremlins are sorted, there should be no reason why this car won't fly.
  5. I think it should be a definite option.. rather than something to think about... Get me the catch code the tune is based on from jamie.. And we'll work something out. Well as we both know, the drivability shouldn't have been effected, as the only problem with a pegged map sensor is at 22psi when its mega rich, and lacks timing, until it gets closer to the tuned boost level. My "assumption" would be that this is somewhat of the reason for the 3rd gear miss, as pilot spiro grabs 3rd gear, the load level passed through that stupid rich and mega regarded region somewhat fouling the plugs. I've had some cars particularly ZF based cars do this on gearshift, as to stop excessive wear on the ZF, I've had to manipulate the torque reduction on gearchanges, which the -10 degree's timing is enough to cause it to miss much like spiros did... I can only imagine how much worse it would be given the Fuel mixtures massively richer around the 22psi load level. The factory spark system on these cars suck arse. The only solution ive seen that works with the factory pcm is a voltage booster for the coilpacks. Which this being another option you could consider.
  6. My awsomeness™ is known to those who matter. So first step is rather obvious, Quit playing with a pegged Map sensor. http://apps.bosch.com.au/motorsport/downloads/sensors_map.pdf Part number 0 281 002 576.. Its a bolt in replacement. The ford PCM is very capable of running a 4bar map sensor. Maybe you should ask a "expert" who's done it before.
  7. He is right though..... It didn't really do anything... :dontknow:
  8. for me? awww your breaking my heart
  9. yeah nah, I definatly dont want a cam like that
  10. Short for "princess".. which explains a number of members here, who sit whilst they pee......
  11. nice... So what cams were they? I want my taxi to sound like that too but seriously, how much inches of vac does it have at idle(@what rpm)?
  12. Air shifted? You sit whilst you pee.... don'tcha
  13. See JETFPV is on the money! :D What you talking about Spiko... our pro stock car is perfectly streetable.............. LOL
  14. Yeah, we were bored tuesday night, and no one could be bothered strapping a car down.. plus my neighbors wouldn't have liked it very much........ come to think of it. I should have got some video footage...
  15. So I was playing with my dyno the other day.. with a combined effort of johnny and daz, they made a total of 0.1 kw, and 3.0 psi.. Although I think daz was about to pop his pooper valve, and john nearly launched when I hit the brake... But yeah .. john had problems with a bit of slippage on the roller, but he was told to harden the F up!
  16. With your story, blown engine and TrannyXR6 .. err sorry, XR6 Tornado I'd be pretty pissed too if I didn't have a timeslip or a dynoslip.
  17. why? micks nizpro built car ran 10.80 @ 129(?)mph with a 330rwkw dyno sheet.. As he said. He doesn't give a sh*t about the rwkw, he only cares how quick it is..
  18. what gets me is that his previous figure was 350+ (plus added for internet rwkw).. and there was no mention of convertor issues.
  19. exactly... it won't And the penny drops... Someone's worked it out...
  20. The question is. Whats a cage done to that level cost forum members like us? There are some where a rusty bolt in cage will do, But there are others like myself, and clearly yourself spiko that demand the highest quality of installs. Its pretty hard finding someone to build a cage of that quality.
  21. only one pic? pfft. hardly porn!
