  2. At idle the map is clipped at minimum of 40kpa (even thou spec says 50kpa min) Not bdm. I can flash via my own software and j2534 passthru device. Oh, and flash time on a Ba is 15seconds
  3. Yes. Im running a 4bar Tmap AND 5bar iap.. And those values are not available in any software on the market!

  5. The FG injector cut is done in the PCM, nothing to do with the ZF.. I've turned it off on the FG's, as well as enabled it on BA/BF's for laughs.. There is 4 torque control methods used in the Ford strategies. Spark Retard Air/Fuel adjustment Injector cut Electronic throttle Large torque reductions are done with the following priority -> Injector Cut, Air/Fuel adjustment, and then Spark retard. Each one of these 4 methods can be adjusted, as well as enabled or disabled individually. **None of this is to be re-published without my permission**
  6. Increase shift pressure into 2nd to stop hitting the rev limitor in first gear when you have increased the power. Improve longevity of the box by overall increasing shift pressures. Typical things which have been done in the past to handle more power. But I also see alot of broken input shafts. Considering we're already seeing twisted(and broken) input shafts with higher powered vehicles! The ZF input shaft diameter is tiny, like something you'd see on a 4 cylinder barina. The 4 speed auto has a input shaft diameter nearly double in size!!!
  7. 2 years ago I flashed a ZF trans with a battery so flat that it was unable to start the engine immediately after with no problems. The fact that the 5R29-7J105-xx type codes are "calibration" only regions means if a flash fails, you will be able to re-flash it with no problems. Your not entirely erasing the operating system in the procedure.

  9. Overboost is due to spark retard commanded by torque reduction during gearshift. The wastegate port is not adequate enough to bypass that amount of exhaust gas and causes a few psi boost raise during the shift

  15. Will the TCM flash be separate to the PCM as in a separate flash option, or will it flash both pcms together.. I ask this in terms of wasted flash time.. No need to flash TCM if you haven't made any changes (and wasting more time during the flash process). Which Vehicles are currently supported?

  18. refer to my reply in the etstreet thread.. But in summery, the night he dropped his car of I was bringing my XR6 out, and before I got out of my street, one of my cooler pipes blew off twice. This was due to a cooler pipe to mate up my gt42 to my existing nizpro rubber piping not being ideal as Jason ran out of bends 3am when we finally pieced my car back together. Its since been fixed.

  20. Yeah, I used one of his 2cent hose clamps ... So the loss of motivation was all him. hopefully he has enough power now for the plate to fly off at smack him in the face. Of course, he wants low 10's worth of mods to beat something I did like 4 years ago with basic mods. he can keep his little goal, and when he finally does it, he may realize no one gives a sh*t as its old news.
  21. Funny.. the AFR line is also leaner, Was the power increase due to the cat or due to leaner afr's.. It also starts to Nose over earlier in the RPM compared to the original power curve.. Is the new cat restricting higher RPM horsepower flow?
