  1. LOL you were waiting to turn right at the lights near KV Tint as I went across (I was heading up Adelaide road)
  2. Spotted BenDoCo at the traffic lights in Muzz Bizza around 4pm this arvo
  3. Could also try Steve Knight Racetech at lonsdale. He has a full house AWD Mainline dyno.
  4. Hahaha SO has mine! I have Rspec GT rims on mine
  5. If he does that then his F6 will look like mine..... except mine still has the factory F6 boot spoiler on it.
  6. I'm running the mild steel twin 2.5" XForce on my F6, sounds good enough to me with no drone and for the price I payed ($700 new for complete turbo back) I couldn't say no to it. I still haven't fitted the 4" dump and cat section though, so I'm sure when I do that it will be slightly louder than it is now. If I wanted a loud droning *beep* of thing I would've kept my evo x with it 3.25" titanium turbo back..... Fark that thing was loud when ya booted it and droned like a *beep* on the open road.
  7. Its the actual crossover that has the split in it, near where the breather and bov return hose fit
  8. Mine on the F6 is fine but my old mans G6ET's one has a 50mm split along the seam.
  9. Attention you FG Turbo guys that have gone Turbo side intakes: Do any of you still have the factory plastic FG crossover piece and large convoluted rubber pipe that goes from it to the airbox laying around that ya wanna sell to me cheap???
  10. I nearly bought one of those RS focus in Blue but ended up getting the F6 instead
  11. Ive been using the Penrite racing 15w50 every oil change in my FG F6 since the 7500km service (car now has 63000kms on it) and its still nice and quiet on cold start ups
  12. Oh what a decent Friday evening sitting here at a mates engine building workshop talking engines, politics, sport and tippin down a few alcoholic beverages!
  13. As much as id like to chuck a sickie, unfortunately its not a viable option at the moment due to work restructuring.
  14. Cos its on a Sunday im only a maybe to coming along. Reason being is Sunday arvos are the start of my working week.... Only 2 more weeks of 12hour shifts and im movibg back to 8hr shifts so that will free up a few more hours on Sundays.
  15. Yeah I had a unmarked crappadore pull a u turn and then pull me over near muzza bizza (out on mannum road) earlier this arvo.... They just did the usual licence and rego check, breath test and then gave the ole F6 a look over and then proceeded to tell me that they only stopped me cos the car looked nice and shiney and sat great on the road coming towards them plus they wanted to have a bit more of a sticky beak! LOL
  16. Really cant be farked working tonight.... Shouldve called in sick but I dont reckon that wouldve gone down to well with the boss considering tonights my first night back after 3 weeks of long service leave. Bring on my 5 weeks off over xmas/new years.
  17. Great day to take a car out for a drive....hmmm which one do I choose
  18. Spotted BenDoco giving the g6et a bit of a boot past my old workplace in Muzza Bizza this morning.
  19. I live in the hills nowdays but my olds still live out mannum way which is where I grew up. I use to work at muzza bizza up until a few years ago.
  20. BenDoCo, I reckon ive seen ya drivin around Muzza Bizza a few times when ive been over that side of the river.
  21. Hmm might see if I can organise myself to roll on down to Adelaide for it
  22. When Ford replaced the engine in my old G6ET under warranty (with a new long motor), the block was all nicely painted gloss black from ford instead of the usual horrible old "as cast" rusty block
  23. Anybody know how much fraud charge for the rubber trans to tailshaft coupling/dampner? Mines farked on my F6
  24. That was the tickford/fpv club doing a lunch cruise to mannum, I saw them all come into ol mannum town.
  25. I fitted the nolathane top arm bushes to my F6 and noticed no increase in any NVH at all, in all honesty it sctually seems quieter as well as being more responsive to steering inputs.
