it runs smooth when not in boost, but boost comes on abit late so cleaned out the solinoid and it seems to be more responisve now I test drove a stock bf and my ba the boost comes on alot harder its hard to belive the torque at only 8 psi

nah no flash box guys there defs bosch 440cc checked up the part number on bosch's list (cant remember it now) and there green bosch symbol is also on the injectors it self.

I would but bought the car from a car yard so no history besides log books its a ba 03 btw, I was told if its got aftermarket intercooler and injectors it has to be tuned..?

hey guys I found out my car has been tuned (due to having bosch 044, front mount etcetc) I hooked a boost gauge and its running only 8psi and dies to 6-7psi??? stock they run about 5-6psi?? could it be a conservative tune?you would think with a tune you would boost it to at lease 10psi? max is 12psi on stock internals but it might even have internals done due to lumpy idle sometimes. im coming from a wrx that was running 22psi so 8psi seems low lol but would a retune with more boost be alrightt? always use 98

hi guys im new to having a 03 ba xr6t coming from a wrx its a bit of a change, my question is can anyone help me to find out if its tuned?? I have no previous history about the car since its bought from a car yard but here are the mods I can see: bosch 044 injectors 50/50 bov plazmaman pro series 3.5" core front mount stock turbo (its clean no oil residue cant tell if its been ported or highflowed) stock boost lines with stranded wastegate actuator 4" down pipe to a 6" cat to 2.75"/2.5" (one or the other) dual tips walbro 255 ( im gessuing so because I had one in my previous car and it was loud) f6 typhoon intake how can I tell if its been tuned? I have no boost gauge but have a mercury gauge, I test drove a stock bf and the boost came on alot stronger on my ba, if I hook up a boost gauge and if its reading more than 5-6psi would this mean its been tuned? (since waste gate lines go to the stock actuator), also more when its cold but it has alot of back pressure from the exhaust sometimes the idle can get lumpy as if the valve springs have been stiffened. thanks guys
