Well for a while I've been looking at my front bar and wondering if it can be modified. I see this nasty bit of plastic sitting in the opening and it doesnt seem to serve much purpose other than to obstruct my intercooler. I think removing it would help airflow more. Does anyone know if this part can be removed and how hard a job it is? Will it has some negative affect and cause my front bar to implode or will it be fine? I've circled the bit in question
I emailed them about this earlier and they said they post results when they get them from the workshops. So I don't know if Bob Romano have sent them or not to them :/
haha I am actually, it has only done around 2500km if that. Depends how much a turbo like xradams costs.. I've already bought a bigger cooler than him I'll keep you in mind if I do upgrade
it is so very true, haven't even stretched the current setup to its max potential and I'm already considering getting the same turbo that adamxr6(thisso, another hi-torque car) has for that extra oomph.
Thanks, the guys at hi-torque did a fantastic job so far and it is a very rev happy engine. Not quite 150hp short, as it stands it has done a best of 622rwhp so was still short on that. It has been a slow and sometimes painful process getting where it is so far.
thanks for the pic of my car and yay top forced 6 figure. Was a bit of a shambles I'm in Adelaide atm so had to get housemate to take it there for me and he only picked it up from workshop friday night. Was meant to have a new intercooler on it as the current 1 on there is a major restriction (5 psi drop @ 19psi). So was thrown back together for this and then from what he told me it was breaking down hence well short of its personal bests. :( Ah well I'll have it running sweet when I'm back
Does LAI still supply the majority of arcade machines in Aus? dad used to have several cabinets, SF2:CE, MK, NBA Jam. Would love a MAME cabinet with assload of games
tempting but I think I'll finished the XR6T 1st and get my other 2 projects sort out 1st :/ I really need a shed so I have somewhere for all these things.
