when I bought my new t 6 months ago I put a new heavy duty exedy clutch in for the reason that I do abit of towing for work... since then I have prob used it 3 times for towing and the rest of the time its work use.... then 2day I had 2 mates in the back seat and when I was on a hill the clutch started to slip.. do u think this is warranty from exedy or just tough luck 4 me as its only been 7000kms since it was installed?
yeah ive got the heavy duty excedy clutch on my turbo goes well but you have 2 rev it to about 1500rpm to engage it (cant remember if the factory clutch is the same or not) I got this clutch cause I do abit of towing for work
actually its because I lost them for speeding 2.5 yrs ago and double demerits a yr ago for talking on my fone.... I forgot to say that it was a white xr8 bf falcon and the copa was young aswell prob about 26
the other day I was driving my t down the pacific hwy at gordon (sydney NSW) when up beside me at the lights was an xr8 with black Mkii GT stripes and the bonnet stripes. so naturally I thought "its time to show this *beep* whos boss" when I looked over into the car and it was an undercover copa..... what a bloody *beep* I thought with his GT stripes and tinted windows.... lucky it was day time so I could see inside and notice he was a copa because ive only got 2 points left.... so for all u guys in the north shore of sydney and people that travel on the F3 just watch out for him.
if I get my car on the dyno how much more power can I get? I dont want 2 spend to much money and do to much due to the fact its still under warranty.... what do u ppl think I should do?
I also got my turbo in oct and got a new diff 2 weeks later as the owner b4 me had some fun in my car.... the low idle is from sh*t in your throttle body or the computer needs re programing.... mine had the same problem when I first got it and the loq oil pressure sound kept on comming on... just ask 2 get the upgrade on your computer but the only problem with that is that they might give u the standard 5psi insted of the old 8-12 psi... I could notice alot of difference when I got my car back but now it goes like a camry and I cant remember what it used 2 go like
ive got a factory 6 turbo and dont think I gas it that much. 17l / 100 km was standard I thought. have u guys had many ppl want 2 drag u because ive had mine for 3 months now and only 1 moron in a sv6 wanted 2 race me..... where have the paul walkers and the vin diesel's of the world gone.......?
well my average is about 17.5 litres in the city and that's with high octane premium. it does cost quite abit but that's what u get when u get a new girl friend.
I got quoted $250 for the Mk ii stripes and ended up getting them for $180 Mk I he quoted me $150 and Mk ii $250 and that's installed, he came 2 my work and did a wonderful job, couldnt have asked 4 better. but that's in syd.
