Well this is my tool kit for the day minus the jig saw so yeah not the best at all.

the speakers come with a red tube that you insert both cable ends into. It has a metal cylinder in it then you use the wire crimper to clamp it tight. Then out comes the tape. Lol#becausenotsparky

Not much to write very simple the rears. Just 5 t25 screws again Also one under the little cover in the door handle. Spacers came up a treat but do get very close to the edge of the door trim Just for you barnz my half arsed sparky work. Also when im unsure I just use fark loads of tape. Pic before tape. But once its all in and up and running yes you do have to turn in up about +2 volume to equal the previous volume level but where the old speakers feel over at 22 with a cd I can go up to 30 with a cd only thing is the sh*t factory sub can not keep up at all so ill be changing that on the weekend. Just need to find a decent one that fits the standard shelf. $109 a pair and $13 for MDF so $231 its not bad at all. Another $200 for a sub and some dynomat stuff (if that's what its called) and ill be happy. Time to go and get Britneys greatest hits. Or do what steve said and crank some FAT RICH KARNTS[emoji482]

Where the old stuff got to 22 and stopped getting louder and more destorted I have run these to 28 and still clear as and loud.

They are a sh*t load better. Straight off the icc and they get loud. Ill have the rears in around lunch so ill be able to give it the full test. Only thing letting me down now the sub.

So I finally decided to change over the factory premium sound (lol premium) I bought kicker CS65 100wrms speakers 6.5". Nice little speaker with 43mm mount depth. So the first thing was to remove the door trim thingy. Very simple. after removing that there is 5 screws. They are t 25 star head ones. Well that's what they are in my superchimp tool kit. Also make sure not to brake the clips holding the door trim insert on. There are two behind the door insert two down the bottom and one under the rubber insert in the door handle Just pop the clips and lift the door trim off. Now before fully removing the door you have to disconnect the door handle cable and power windows and side mirror cables. Ok so now you can see frauds premium sound. Three screws and that sh*t is gone but make sure you know which is positive before smashing it. So this is the first time have used a jigsaw and it didnt come up to bad. I made a stencil from the old speaker with 16mm MDF. Not the best but did the job. So that's the fronts done. Not to bad for a lazy basted with fark all tools. So if I can do it anyone one should be able to. Doing the rears tomorrow so ill post that up tomorrow. But all I can say is its a sh*t load better and so much clearer.

Rears did you trim the door trim with a 16mm spacer on the rear also can you remember the depth of you speakers? Cheers

I just want to make sure. Can you remember when you did your lennox was your spacers on a angle or just flat

As posted before in this thread 32mm front or double up on the 16mm and a single 16mm spacer for rear?

Im going to install new speakers tomorrow and was going to use 25mm spacers front and rear. Im putting in kicker cs65 which are 43mm mounting depth. Would that be a issue with a 25mm spacer. Hopefully I dont break and door trim clips.

Maybe give them a clean when you put on a new set of wheels again. Should be clean by this time next week. Lol

Hahaha. Hay guys just a quick question. If I push the accelerator soft its fine and goes well but if I push it down fast it smokes the rear wheels. Anyone else have this problem. I have owned holdens in the past and this has never happened before. Lol
