  1. So my turbo should have arrived at honeywell in nsw on the 2nd or 3rd. Been keeping intouch with honeywell and they have still not received it. Mtq or honeywell must be pulling my leg or aus post have f*cked up. NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!

  4. So returning the turbo front cover back to how it was with the same preload should fix it?
  5. Because my car is not making the boost it should. Im going for a drive in the hills today with the family. Would anything happen to my car if its under load climbing the hill?

  7. Slightly different. Front cover is upright as before I used the gt bracket not modded it was leaning. So front cover twist will affect it even with the same amount of preload as last time.
  8. I did a half hole preload like turbosmart suggest. f*cking pissed off just want my car back to normal.
  9. So I did a live log with the torque app. Only saw a peak boost of 15lb at 4600rpm then drop off fast. So im thinking with the extra noise in the zorst and only 15lb that means waste gate pressure is leaking yeah? Should be 20Lb at 2500-2600rpm
  10. Short vid not sure if its going to help but it's just not going crazy like it used to.
  11. Definitely slower. Only on full wack after 3500rpm not 2300rpm.
  12. No graph just turbo swap. Out with old in with the new. Same turbos.
  13. Mid range doesn't seem to be the same as before. Exhaust seems louder. I did triple check to actuator for a half hole preload but just doesn't seem the same. Top end is crazy still but yeah. Meh for the mid.
  14. Turbo fixed. Passports have arrived. Fiji end of the year. f*ck off zika. First over seas trip. Hopefully I get the travel bug and not a gut bug or virus.

  16. I have blocked it before. Flutter lyf. But I get a massive air push then flutter?
  17. Its at its max movement for the coolant line. If it had more in it I would. I would block the bov matty but if I was going to do that I would want it tuned to no bov. Dont want to spike and pop a rod.
  18. So the turbo is back on. Did stand the turbo up right 100% with custom work on the gt bracket. Only issue is now the plumback hose is really thick and can not connect to the turbo side because it squeezes between the turbo outlet and coolant bottle to tight. So running a atmo bov but I think its leaking because it doesn't seem to have the same power as it did before. Actuator has half load preload.I have run the oil line like this as it was the best I could get it. Ill get some new squirters and fuel reg and see how much coin the tax man gives me back. Time for a retune. The tune is sh*t. Also tested the oil in and out and they are both flowing perfectly. Fingers crossed this one holds up as it will just be the weekend car. Lanos Monday to Friday. 400kms for $30 can go wrong. [emoji2] [emoji2]
