  1. Hows that bad boy supercharged V8 going?
  2. Agreed.
  3. Are you calling Robin a liar and his claims are or is this your way of asking a question? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Better air fuel ratios and cam control could certainly lead to a gain in power. As far as I'm aware the interceptor products do not have the ability to provide cam control. Also the factory system will have finer control over air fuel ratios I would suspect, which may help slightly. Removing any other restrictions in the inlet system (ie manifold, intercooling, intercooler piping) will also 'give' you more power at 'less' boost, due to the fact that the system is experiencing less pressure drop, so the engine is actually seeing the same or more boost, even though the compressor is delivering the same or less boost. And yes, accusations like 'liar' etc never help things.. Kris.
  4. Mutlply by 10.5 to convert from lb/min to cc/min and obviously divide by 10.5 to go the other way. Kris.
  5. No mate its not, DOcs car already has zorst ect on it and I wanted to do a stage by stage biuld up for those interested, Fitting CAPA 42 pound injectors to this car now to see just how far we can go without actually changing anything on the car, then will do the air filter pad and zorst ect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice contradiction there, if you are changing the injectors then you *are* changing something on the car.
  6. Just thought I would let you guys know for 'public interests' sake that the record now stands at 130.92mph Feel free to check the timeslip here - http://forums.nizpro.com.au/phpbb/viewtopi...er=asc&start=15 Regards, Kristoffer Sheather.
  7. I'd also like to add on a set of Nitto NT555R which I distribute.. Cheers, Kris.

What is the contact details for these guys? I am interested in obtaining a couple for my own cars.
  9. Wow. Quite a turnaround. One minute the biggest F6 fan. Telling stories of 'spine tingling' acceleration, 'skids', and preaching the warranty and FPVs acceptance of the clutch issue with such comments as "I am prepared to have any and all problems fixed under warranty without complaint." The next minute you're threatening legal action for FPV doing just that, warranty work. You're a joke. Just confirms that all your dribble about the F6 was just a way to make yourself feel better about your misguided buying decision. But then, I didn't need it to be confirmed. I already knew it. Not a word you say on this forum (or any other) holds any merit whatsoever. And to repeat your sentiments as presented by you to Hypnodoc.. I hope you settle your legal action with FPV real quick. Your constant defence of the F6 is pissing me off. And now this... Please sort it out quickly and join another forum. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ExAreSix, Do me a favour and get a LIFE. Mate you seriously need help if you think my comments somehow make every other thing I said about the F6 untrue. You seem to live in a fairy land where every word has a mixed meaning. For the record once the clutch is repaired or fixed it will still be a better car than your datsun or whatever you drive. My whinge is that they deklivered my car knowing there was an iminent recall. No hidden meaning, no other agenda. I'm not saying anything about the F6 that I don't believe. The only difference with you and the like(you dic&*heads know who you are) is that I actually drive one of these cars. You bag them because you have second best. In a month or whatever, the Phoon will be back on the road and I will have the smile on my face once more. You, my poor little friend, will still be a miserable fu^k wishing you had something better. How about you join another forum. Maybe somewhere that discusses your car Your agenda is very clear to me and everyone that reads your commernts see your true intentions to undermine the vehicle that realy has nothing to do with you. I only wish I could convey my comments to those interested in this car and not to those interested in another car. You know what I mean DI%KHEAD. Don't presume you know my sentiments. After all, I could be in a GT in a month. Though I doubt it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think someone needs to take a dozen valiums..
  10. Wishlist - 6 speed turbo territory.
  11. 1800 a month is damn expensive insurance! Are you sure you dont mean 1800 a year by any chance?
  12. One would think its so that it doesnt make more power than the XR8 rather than any technical reason?
  13. Who cares whether its detectable or not, if you modify your tune, then something goes wong, then who do you really have to blame? Should you be using dishonesty to gain an advantage at the manufacturers expense? I think a few guys need to question their ethics and principles on this matter.. that's my 2 cents, and you can keep the change..
  14. So wheres the results?

If you are serious about traction fit a set of 17x9.5" rims on the back, then go purchase a set of 275/40/17 BF Goodrich Drag Radial Comp T/A's. Zoom did a story on these a few issues back and they said that they were a decent street tyre, with awesome grip and handling. If you can accept a reduced tyre life of about twice a standard road tyre then these are the go.

Well actually you have a 4 litre motor with a turbo, so effectively you have a 6.8 litre motor if you go by motorsport rulings (effective capacity of turbo motor is 1.7x nominal capacity), just thought I'd point it out.
  18. I would like to see the details on the APS stage IV kit in relation to the rods and pistons they will be using, especially in comparision to the Nizpro stuff. I know APS like to brand their own kit so I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Just remember, no favourites here, capatilism breeds competition for the good of the consumer.

Yep I have a GT42 on my 2.2L SR20 motor, no power figures yet but I'm anticipating good results (with appropriate lag expected mind you..). I can imagine that the GT42 will work quite well on a 4L motor, provided the RPM limit is increased accordingly (I would say to at least 7000rpm to have a nice usable power band, with full boost coming in at say 3,000rpm).
  20. Just take your car up to CRD to get the install done, for the $70 in fuel it will be worth the saving.

800hp ball bearing turbo, GT42 perhaps?
  22. The clutch problems in the Typhoon were caused by the driver flat shifting the transmission at WOT. FPV are fixing the issue and offering free in field fixes to any affectecte customers. Will be interesting to see the final results of the packages, hopefully these motors have better valve springs from the factory (can you confirm this?).
  23. Sounds like a good deal
  24. I doubt it would be the typhoon clutch as that would mean no differentiation between the XR6 and Typhoon. Car companies live on this sorta stuff so I really doubt it.

    SS vs XR6T

Well, not that they would admit on a public forum anyhow..
