HI Cranny, If you took your car back to dealer at Power Ford in Castle hill, they will have to be the worst Ford service dealer in the state. Had a really bad experience with them a few years ago. so did my close friend. Dont get me wrong, The salespeople are great at Power Ford, But I would even touch the service department with a 10 foot pole..

Hard Luck mate.. My Order of approach; 1) Contact Dealer Power Ford explain problem. 2) Dealer to organise tilt tray to pick up your car. I would not drive it..risk further damage 3) wait for diagonse, hopefully it is something small and easily fixable.. 4) Discuss available options to get to fixed or replaced. keep a record of events..

In order to make a fair comparison between the new GT335 and the F6310 and compare apples with apples, would someone like to tell us what is the fastest time recored for a F6310 on a tune and M/T's alone?

according to what you are saying, the tyres will need to make a 1.1 second difference? for a F6310 to run 11.7 sec's ???

How did we know that's a GT in the video, yet alone a GT335? THis is a New Gt335 around a race track. For the record, what is the quiest time recorded for a F6310 with tune and M/T's over 1/4 mile?

Yes, I Have driven many F6 310's Loved the sound of an angry sounding superchager when revved hard!! nothing wrong with supercharged cars, just different power deliveries. Definately worthy of the GT name.

Just got back from a test drove in the new GT335 ZF, from a standstill with 1st selected in sportmode, spun wheels hard all the way through the first 2 gears! Very impressed to say the least. Felt easily faster the a F6310, no comparision against the GT315! FPV well done. All we need now is some decent wide rims, tweak the supsension and we had a Legend in the making.

Serious Question? Did you have your traction control turned off?

Going back to the original Post, is the New GT335 faster than a BF Typhoon?

Glad you mentioned the Motor magazines comparisons, The latest December Motor magazine issue, FPV GT335 run 13.24@182.25km/h vs HSV GTS 13.76@169.27km/h same day, same conditions! so technically as you put it, Typhoon is slower.

Roy from street Fords Magazine run a New Manual GT 335 down the quarter 20-10-10 with a best of 12.92@113.99mph with a lazy 2.141 60ft. So do you really want to continue stating that your stock ZF is and will be faster than a BF Typhoon? How many kms did the GT 335 have on the clock? Note that this GT 335 might have been very tight, give it a few extra 100's km, this engine will loosing up and provide some better results. your thoughts?

So lets get this right? YOu are making a comparison between your stock BF TYphoon vs the GT 335. The FG XR6 turbo is faster than your BF Typhoon. So I dont know how you come up with the GT 335 being slower??

Some good times you run there. what was your 60 footer times? The tables may be reversed when the new supercharger GT arrives on the scene. only time will tell. Interested times ahead for FPV owners.
