  1. 2012 AFL season sees Tigers finish 9th on percentage I reckon..!?
  2. 6Spot Front Brembos and rotors suit Fg for $2100, cheap as they have been for a while!
  3. OK, heres the latest update to the ongoing Territory saga. After the disappointment experienced in tuning for power and having problems with rising AFR's. I left things as they were and just remained discontented using it as a power limited daily driver. This was cool for a while then I began to notice performance getting doughier and softer, along with an ever increasing squealling from my highly suspect forum purchased fuel pump. Being a lazy type, I figured that now was the time to do something about it. Lo and behold, the next day whilst hooking up a car trailer to the Terry, it just about stalled, something it has never done before. It recovered and kept on running but the writing was finally on the wall. Back to VPW and after delliberating for a short time, I ordered an Aeromotive 340 Series Stealth in-tank pump, part # 11140. I chose this pump after checking out the specs and canvassing the opinions of the other Evo10 guys I hang with. At this stage, Im set to fit it next Sat morning then head out for a quiet time retuning. It would be nice to squeeze as much boost into the old girl as the pump will allow, of course with respect to safety and engine longivity.
  4. Had a similar thing with my F6, Fraud ended up replacing the alarm module then it finally stopped happening. My neighbours are real old so probably didnt hear a thing!
  5. Hey Steve, I have some BA/BF Brembo front brackets for you to digitise, if you're keen. mal K

    Diff Whine

Just having the Nolathane bushes is enough to transmit any vibration/noise/whine to the chassis of your T. It is very likely that the noise was always there, its just that with the old soft rubber diff bushes you weren't able to hear it. Any urethane bush will transmit more noise and harshness into the vehicle but also give greater control over movement that may have been present before. I would seriously doubt that a simple diff oil change would cause the whine you are now hearing.
  9. Brake proportioning is defined by the staging and sizing of the master cylinder. EBD (if you had it.. he he he..) works within these parameters. Its good to have as much rear brake bias as possible, Im sure the factory set-up is a little conservative in how it biases rear brake pressure (is there a rear propotioning valve?), but its probably better than lots of rear wheel lock-up. Go for a fabricated pedal box with individual master cylinders and a proportioning adjuster...oh hang on, its a road car, so largely, its best left as standard to keep your power assistance and abs and all the rest. Really good pads I guess, or a rear upgrade as previously stated are probably your best and most likely options. Hope this is of some help.
  10. Excellent result, just flush out the brake fluid with new stuff and of course use the best pads you can afford. Pad selection makes a massive difference as to how an entire brake system performs, but most importantly, feels. Enjoy your new brakes mate!
  11. HI, Im pretty sure that you will struggle to buy the caliper mounting side separately, its tricky enough to get a C5/6 caliper on their own. If you have 18" BA XR8 rims, you can run your Brembo calipers and correct rotors but Im unsure if you will fit those 325mm rotors and C5/6 caliper under a 17" rim. Others on this forum may have some more info. Best of luck mate, Mal K

    F6E

If you can get one at the right price, they are a lovely vehicle, lots of luxuries and plenty of go. Low key enough to keep the wallopers off your case too.
  13. Sorry, didnt read your post properly... No available software..Damn.
  14. Cant you set knock sensor threshold, simply make it less sensitive?
  15. Have to agree with you XR, a car that feels flatter and faster is quite often the opposite. Having some roll compliance especially given that most of the time we are on real world crappy rough roads makes the car easier and nicer to steer, rather than one that is set up so firm and tight that a simple bump upsets the whole balance. For most folks, its nicer and quite likely a safer set-up. Bigger isnt always better.
