  2. Hi guys, Sorry to have missed the Pre-Xmas Cruise, but I ended up O/S and unfortunately missed out... Much better news though, I picked up my new F6 Typhoon two days ago and would love the chance for all to check it out (Not named yet...) Only 120km on the clock.. Stay safe and have a brilliant Xmas and new to everyone... Be good or be careful or maybe both... Mal K

  6. Guys, For those of us still contemplating a factory CAI fitment, there is a specific part no that applies to BF Falcon Turbos, probably the same as a Typhoon CAI but it is now standard fitment to all T's. Part # BAF-9C676B When I checked it was about $70 but there is no local stock for Perth, yet... Worth a long look I reckon.. Mal K
  7. Wow, Nice big bastid snake... you can just keep it all to yourself...!!
  8. They've been around a bit have they Cro? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cro, your hanging with the wrong type of rotor, they will do your image no end of harm ha ha ha BTW, whats their number...
  9. Yup, Have recently fitted the PBR Premuim Brake Kit and again enjoying the braking power and hugely improved brake feel that comes with them, the only downside is finding a decent wheel cleaner, something that wont kill the finish on the factory MKII wheels... Can anybody help here? Am currently using warm soapy water but am hoping to find a cost effectiive and fast way to keep my T gleaming.. BTW, I used the Meguiars system once and now use the Quick Detailer each time I wash, only takes 20-30mins to "wax" the whole car. Most impressed with the results.. Thanks for any kind words of help guys.. Mal K
  10. Muzza, If you know of any nice ladies (Well OK, maybe not so nice is good as well...) by all means bring them along, I'd love someone nice looking to chat to... No offence Steve..!
  11. Dude, My T isnt my toy car, that would be my '71 Capri with 400hp Windsor and 1035kg to shift. it runs a full Wilwood brake set-up and is driven way way harder than I suppose you would drive your T.. If I really want to play, I do, but with the correct Weapon.. T is just a nice daily driver, no more and no less..
  12. Got around to finally fitting the PBR kit and yes, its much better that the standard set-up. I will giive it a few hundred kms to bed in gently before giving it a real good hiding.. Brake feel is hugely better..
  13. No doubt it has had a full life, its being used in that kind of role and service life isnt an issue for Mr Plod driving the damn thing.. Over here in WA, our wallopers get the full monty SV6, that's right, 190kw of throbbing power complete with flashing lights and striping... Gee, Im impressed... What had happened over here was a spate of cop deaths, brought about by the introduction of VTII Gen3 powered Commodores, with standard brakes and standard suspension. Indeed, after 6 or 7 deaths, not even whilst in pursuit, the then Police Commisioner decreed that there be no more V8 Police Vehicles. He has since retired but that policy lives on over here. Surprisingly, there have been no more police deaths in car crashes, including pursuits!! Sure, any decent T will disappear from Plod, its just their communication system and helicopter that may prove harder to shake..
  14. Hi guys, After looking at them for 3 weeks now, Im finally getting around to fitting my PBR brake upgrade today.. Just have been so busy that after fixing everyone elses car, the last thing I want do do is actually work on my own toys.. BTY, my first XR6T, had factory performance brakes fitted and I found it wasn't just the stopping power, but the overall feel of the brakes that made such a difference when compared to standard brakes. The PBR kit includes braided hoses which should make pedal feel even better (There was nothing poor about the pedal feel with factory performance brakes... Standards feel like they might'nt stop sometimes....) so I cant wait to see the difference.. Personally id have preferred the calipers to be painted black so no one can tell whats been done to the car.... Yes stealth is the way... I will post again when Im done and give us all some feedback Mal K
