  1. Toluene has great anti-knock characteristics but is highly toxic and polluting, been around forever. Honda used it to great effect in their turbo F1 engines, at up to 40lbs of boost. I guess if you are going for every rwkw, this is a viable option, but I think not for just a modded daily driver. Horses for courses I suppose!
  2. Whats with all the white, silicone-looking stuff around the edge of the new rear diff bush? You really dont need that if you are installing a bush correctly. Was the rear bush loose in the cradle?
  3. Lots of people are put off by the thought of LPG as fuel, for many reasons. Just the fact the car has "4" cylinders may in itself be enough for them to consider it as an option, especially one as big, comfortable and nice to drive. Cost of ownership for most people comes down to perceived fuel efficency. Not much else..

  5. Your local stealer (dealer..) should be able to give you a part # for the manifold. I bought mine off a forum member who had contacts at Ford. It needed a little tidying up as it turned out to be a prototype manifold, without any part nos. on it but has worked flawlessly on my Territory turbo. A standard FG fuel rail also lined up perfectly (make sure you use the correct fuel pressure regulator) with 5mm spacers to match the Siemens Deka 60lb injectors I used. People have used this manifold, in standard spec, to make over 600rwkw so its not bad and if you find it second hand, a cheap way to make good power. Hope this helps you a bit. Cheers.

  7. Not many options if you wish to retain the factory head unit, I agree that a quality aftermarket HU would murder the factory item. Just trying to make the best of what is already there and integrated into the vehicle.
  8. You poor bastidge, guess its best to chalk it up to experience and move forward. Lesson learned and hopefully, thanks to this post, we can all make sure this isnt likely to happen to us.

  14. No doubting the talent in that team, its almost like Ratten is at his limit as a coach. Hawks looking promising this year, especially if Roughy is back and fit.
  15. Its disconcerting when you trail a huge plume of acrid smoke... good thrash on deserted back roads or private test track will certainly bring in on! Catch can is a brilliant solution.
  16. LC6i is the go, intelligent converter and you end up with a signal that's worth amplifying!!
  17. The Blues have underperformed for 5 farkin years, its now or never. They didnt beat any of the teams that finished above them last year. Certainly top eight, but I expect them to be gone quickly come finals.... the toothless Tiges to finish 9th on percentage..

  19. Best and only way to be sure is put them on a valve spring tester, then all the B/S stops. Lash out and buy some good ones! They really are a consumable item, in the end..
