Yep - I am having similar issues with the bluetooth in my G6ET. The FG bluetooth definetly does not work as seemlessly as the unit they fitted to my 2007 TTG. That one works perfectly !! What have they done to stuff it up I wonder? Hope there is a fix coming soon though.

I can not see an opportunity to get down to have a 'strap' in your beast before I myself will be editied. I am down at Elite on Friday. Looking forward to the improvements. Hi OVAR8D, thansk for the comments. I am also gettign my tiune done at Elite. Actually the day I booked it in must have been the day you were getting yours done. Paul mentioned that they had just done a G6ET that went from 231 to 264 - so must be you. Where abouts are you based - if you are not too far away I would be interested in having a "Sneak Peak" at what I could expect. Also you mentioned that it wouldn't hold boost up top - can you explain a little more please. ta

Just wondering what people have done in terms of exhaust mods for the G6ET (is if the same at the FG XR6T ??). What benefits have accompanied the mods and are you happy with the result ? ie perfomance , noise etc. Also what sort of dollars did it cost ? I am getting a custum tune in a few weeks for my G6ET and was wondering if a new high flow cat should be installed before hand or if the standard system will suffice. I do not want to change the sound too much if at all - prefer a nice quiet cabin these days. However, if a few more ponies can be unleashed with a cat/zorst upgrade then why not. Anyway, if you have some info to share in this regard, I would be very interested.

My FG G6ET is limited to 210 (but man it wants to go on). Actually on the sat nav it measures out at only 208. Not sure if edit will remove this limit but I WILL BE FINDING OUT IN A FEW WEEKS TIME!

Yeah, with further exploration this is what I have found - it takes about 3 to 5 seconds to sort itself out sometimes. BLOODY ANNOYING to say the least. With my Factory bluetooth in the Territory it is istantaneous and works really good. This is the only dissappointment I have with the car though. I wonder if Ford can fix this with a sotfware update ? Any info on that would be appreciated. Orrie

That is interesting !! I was also using the Ipod when I tested mine. Maybe it is just with Ipod use ? I will have to test it again with a CD or radio going. I did ring the dealer and he said that it definietly should mute all music when a call comes in - so at least that is comforting to know that they did not plan it to be like it is. I also have to agree that the Ipod integration is EXCELLENT - a real positive step.

I just can't beleive that Ford would have this as the standard operation. Let's hope there is a simple glitch that I need to fix this problem.

Nice car I might add, just needs to be lowered Thanks. - Yeah lowering the car would improve the look BUT I do not want to make the car too rough to drive. I might do it one day though !

Yeah, I am hopping this is not how it is supposed to be and that there is a quick fix for it !

Hi members, just taken delivery of my new G6ET - really happy with the car but one thing is dissappointing me. With my factory bluetooth in our Tubo Terry Ghia, when a call is made or comes in, the music automatcally reduces volume and you can only hear the caller through the car steroe system. However, the G6ET factory bluetooth in my new FG does not do this. The music and the call ae both coming through the stereo system. Is this normal ? Does anyone else have any similar experience. I will call the dealer tomorrow to check but just thought I would check with the real world first. thanks by the way I have posted some pics of the new beast.

For my case I pay the GST on the residual (or Ballon) value at time of purchase from the lease company. So depands how long you keep it for and what this value is as to how much GST you pay. If you keep a car for 5 years, the residual would be about 35% - THUS YOU PAY ABOUT 35% of the new car GST price. Even if you but it after 12 monhs you only pay 65% of the GST value - Still a lot better than paying the full monty up front !

Just odered this week a G6ET with the following options G6E SAFETY ENHANCEMENT PACK (Adjustable Pedals & Alarm) TOWPACK - 1600kg Window tint Headlamp guards - non-XR Bonnet protector Mudspats - non-XR front Mudspats - non-XR rear Carpet mats - G Series - Shadow (set of 4) Novated Lease - thus GST excluded at $45507 (my company does a lot of business with ford so we get some special treatment- yahoo). Delivery if about 5 weeks time. Would be interested if anyone can do better.

It does look a lot better lowered. I also have TTG with 20's and like the look of yours lowered however I have some reservations about wheel alignment and uneven tyre wear. Would be interested to see how yours goes over time. Orrie

Guys, there was a simple question asked here. All I see is long standing memebers (all more than 6000 posts) giving grief as replies. I don't like it either but that was not the question. Can anybody help the guy out as he seems to be intersted in this bodykit. Sorry man but I can't help.

Really like to see your dyno chart when you have your latest run Mine looked like "sonic the hedgehog"- very wavy (does nor feel wavy when you are driving though) but I am told this is normal for the terry AWD systems. Good luck with the 280 target - maybe you might go 300 if conditions suit Orrie
