I picked up my brand new XR6 T sedan 3 weeks ago in Petrolum colour and the first night I got my car, I found there is a tiny dent on left rear upper door just right below the glass, therefore I called the sale guy next morning and he told me take it to show him or just wait till 3000kms first service and take it there to service department, anyway there was a long story about it, so I was arranged to take it back to Ford Panel shop and I took it last Tuesfday to show the panel shop manager and he said he will fix that and respray the whole door but he just need to put a warranty claim to manufacture to get approval before they can start, and I was arranged to take the car back this Monday and Ford warranty guy will come to have a look my car before they can straight start working on it, so just the night before, I take another real serious look around the whole car and I picked the right driver door is not close fully, its just slightly sticking out, not align to the back door, a tiny dimple over the paint on front right panel, the U of the Turbo badge is not align properly, so 4 issue I have picked up totally. This Monday morning I took it there and the manager was away for 5 weeks holiday and another staff help me with the issue and I told him I picked 3 more issue of my car and firstly he suggested better not to respray the door because the clear coat finish will not be the same as factory, its done by robot but they do it by human, but he said wait to see what the warranty guy will suggest, secondly, the driver door cannot really do much because its mass produce car and there must be a tolerance or something and yeah I accepted his answer, and that tiny dimple he said it's a dust on the paint and can polish off and replace a new Turbo badge for me, also he actually picked up another dent on the left side of the roof too which I just didn't notice at all and he explained the dent was caused when the robot clamped the roof something like that and he shows me his XR6 company car also have that too and yes its similar as mine haha but its not that bad really, so I just put up with it and he is very helpful and honest and provide professional advice as he was by trade for 15+ years, so he lent me a loan car and told me to come back at the end of the day and when I back there at 4:30pm, he told me there was good news and bad news, the good news is the manufacture will replace a new door and the bad news was that dust was under the paint and there is a tiny mark after they polish it off but I was so happy they replace me a new left rear door and just forget about the tiny mark and the left rear door will be ready to replace in 2 weeks, although there was a quality issue of my new XR6 T but I still love it so much, so much power and torque and as most of you know Ford have dropped more than $10,000 off of original price recently and that's the main reason I bought it. I paid mine $38,200 something drive away 6 speed manual and what else you can buy for this money.......
