Nah mate it's not bad. Have to take my driveway at a bit of an angle, and you have to go slow over speedbumps (I didn't change the shocks, so travels too much) - I'm selling it now, so I'm not going to bother changing the shocks.

Essgee - retail value of the 3 years servicing is $1235 including roadside assist. So do not take delivery unless they reduce the drive away price by at lease that much. 100% of production is currently dedicated to GT-F and FH mules - and since they wound back production days and staffing that's all they can do. Dealers get all of this communicated to them so they're just trying to get you over the line to sign the paperwork - if you get one of the first FHs through you'll have it before the end of the year, but if you have a random option combo you'll wait till end q1 start q2 2015 as it'll be allocation only for the first run.

XtRmn8 I would think the 6 would be cheaper to service, but more expensive to feed. It doesn't need any fancy oils and really doesn't have much to brake.

You can't compare new for new at that money. And the downside of the r35 is the insane amount of money they cost to keep on the road. Servicing one would make Richard Branson cringe.

Looking good, very similar to mine Can't say I'm a fan of the F6 wheels on a G series, but wheels are a very personal taste!

Interesting to see how you go with the SRT pads. I had them on my BF Typhoon and hated them. Hope you get better performance from them than I did.

4 speed auto for $20k+? God no. 16k of mods or not...

Hey ITZON do you ever drive the GTP now you have the G6? - is it modded? Otherwise would feel incredibly slow...

The evo IX or jap spec evo VIII is a better buy than a X anyway... I can't imagine the evo X will ever be that much quicker around a track if you spend huge dollars on both of them - it is not the same track weapon the earlier evos were (HKS time attack evo anyone?) If I was you I'd buy an R34 GT-R... It has a all paw power but will let you slide it, plus has more torque than an evo with the extra couple of cylinders.

All of a sudden I feel an urge to buy a midnight purple R33 with a horrendous CF bonnet...

Spending money modifying an NA XR6 is like paying for your 40 year old wife to get bolt ons. Better, but still a waste of money. Just sell it and buy a turbo if you want to go faster. And if you're on your P's and can't buy a turbo, then save the money until you're off your P's and then sell it and get a turbo, you'll be happier in the long run. Myself and no doubt plenty of others have thrown $000's at NA 6's and never gotten what we wanted - it's just a waste of money.

Oh yeah, gotta love that 2 piston Brembo front brake setup

Haha so it's already broken it once Hopefully things were replaced with strengthened units... Ah well, hell of a car for under 10k - if you end up having you bung a 6 speed in, it is what it is.

Do you mostly want the intake for sound? If not there's better things to spend your money on surely? The price of some of those intakes would almost pay for a retune...
