G'day Swapped my Bf mk1 f6 for a Rspec (173) and took delivery December 1st. This might seem strange, but the motor does not seem as smooth as my previous F6 and in fact my wife's Focus Xr5t seems a lot smoother than the Rspec. As far as I know, there is no change in the engine between the bf1 and Rspec. It's done about 8000k now, I am sure if I go to ford and say it's not as smooth as the previous one they will just laugh knowing how good there servicing can be. Any Ideas ?

I just used AmazingGlaze on my Phoon, Its a good days work though and have used it on all my cars great stuff, its about $80 including the aplication kit and there is enough to do two cars. Anybody know if the break squeal problem on the Ba premium brakes has been fixed on the BF, looks like the standard Bf falcon now has the brakes from the territory. I am sick of my brakes squealing like a pig and have even changed the pads to Ultimates but they still squeal.

G'day I am fed up with my premium brakes squealing and I am going to have the pads changed as I beleive others have done this to stop the squeal. Can anyone recommend which pad to fit

Hi Anybody still having problems with brake squeal, I have had squeal since day 1, pads have been replaced but still squeals under low pressure braking. I took the ford service forman for a drive and he said "sh*t that's loud", but they do sod all about it. I have even complained to Ford customer care but that seems to go no where. All they tell me there is a problem raised with ford and we are working on it, but nothing happens.
