Gday mate, As far as your novated lease is concerned you can pretty much do waht you like to the car and the fleet company should not care. Basically it is YOUR car and they are managing it. unless you are talking an operateing lease tool of trade? Feel free to PM me mate Chooka

Guys, There are anomalies in all motors and they all behave differently, I have had identical race bikes one after the other. one was a freak and the other was a slug no matter what was done to it and went back to the supplier. I can see no reason why a motor will get x killowatts and another can not Just my opinion though Chooka

most definalty they can ping and yes I have had them ping, I have never disabled knock sensors. I have had some ping yes. A knock sensor wont fix a tune that pings, it will remove and replace the timing again. Extreme, my understanding is that the Knock sensor is basically a safety mechanism to save the motor from damage in the event of poor fuel and or atmospheric changes etc that can slightly adjust the tune? ie pinging. Correct me if I am wrong?!?! Chooka

Spot on guys, they will change the fluid first in case there is an air lock then if that does not fix it they will put the upgraded hose on and that will fix the problem Chooka

You have to expect faults in any mass produced car, you should see the amount of issues Expensive Daewoo is having with the VZ!! The majority of these should be worked out in the warranty period but only time will tell! Chooka

Let's face it (turbo 6 kicks ass)... I beat a 250 moto (he used drag clutch take off and all !) off the mark the other day...I hit 4000rpm and GONNNNE 250 moto isn't much of a challange to one of these beasts!! try a bigger bike like Bugster, that will be a challange and I think it may be a good race!! on the strip of coarse Chooka
