I ha dthe 6 manual and the 6 Auto on trail for a week each back to back. I was dead set on the manual at the time but after driving the auto........ better power delivery, faster, better on fuel, that will be the one I will be getting!! Chooka

Totally agree but we have seen allot of people when they first come to this site that know bugger all (myself incuded ) about the T and would probably think that was a reasonable price. The other reason is it gets people in the door, Guy's like bain etc that want to go check out the bonnet for example then spot a car that is perfect for the wife/girlfriend/daughter etc. Chooka

Because I Guarantee they will get someone to buy it that's why. It's different and that's what some people like, to stand out... Chooka

Yep, Just get the 6 speed manual, better still the Mal strengthed 6 speed, don't waste your money with the five speed. Chooka

They only got caught selling to the trade, If they just kept it in there workshop knowone would still be the wiser, they just got Greedy..... Mind you some things like the after market stop light swithes are not only cheaper but also a better quality and last longer than the genuine ford gear. Chooka

Ford could not source coils there for a while so any wonder they had to doctor those but the rest...... Chooka

I like the bit where they can't tell you if it has been in an accident or hail damaged!! if they are worth the money they should be able to pick up a shoddy repair and hail damage Chooka

Umm, then why the hell work in the industry. If you can't afford to run the truck except by putting garbage retreads on, DON'T. Not just singling out truckies, plenty of nongs driving cars that can't afford to run them, but they do and they are generally dangerous POS. And in Pigtoria they don't even have annual rego checks. ← I'm in the industry also mate and most of the tucks you see on the road are from big companys. If the can save $40 a tyre over a fleet of 100 trucks there is big savings to be had and hence more profit. Chooka

I think what Scotty was saying above a bit is that the digital speedo's from factory don't go over 300kmh, I know with my R1 it hits 299kmh nad the tachco goes up and you are deffinately accelerating but it does not read higher. This can however be recalculated in the dash cluster, so put the eat your hat icon away mate lol Chooka
