  12. I would say low 30's been looking around and in the scheme of things the difference between a 7k car and a 20k cars are marginal. you may be able to get him to pay 35k if you can talk it up a bit and he hasn't done much research though, Good luck What did he offer?? Chooka
  13. Yer sucked in to the bitch. Just coz shes from the eastern suburbs doesnt mean SHIIT. I think its the fact she owns a maserati I dont feel sorry for her, but if it was a normal car id feel sorry for em. I just hate snotty eastern suburb old bitches. P.S. whats I find funni is " The owner of the vehicle is currently holidaying in South America. His sister was minding the car and had parked it the night before. " I bet its south africa but they didnt want 2 admit it.. ← The simple fact is the guy is an oxygen theif......you would not lift a $20,000.00 falcon 2 metres in the air to move it.....let alone a maserati woth $110,000.00!!! Deserves all he gets.... Chooka

  15. I'd be waiting at least a year or two before breathing easy. One of the guys at my old work got a parking ticket, ignored it and they where still chasing him up 2 years later, they never forget, it just sometimes takes a little while before sending the first reminder notices. (They may never forget, but they are certainly slow in acting) ← That is becasuse it will go through so many departmets. First it will go through to the leasing company, there it will probably go through 4 people - Registrations - they receive any infringments etc Disposals - To make sure the client was in possestion of the car Relationship manager - Contacts company to advise who was driving the car Company - finds out the drivers name and details etc Relationship manager - relays this back to Registrations Registrations - signs all the relevent documents and stat dec's to say "John Smith" was driving and sends it back to whomever sent the infringment. Then you have to wait for it all to be reissued etc in the drivers name. Trust me they will make you pay, we had one we could not place a driver too and the company had to pay, that may be the only way you will get out of it. Chooka
  16. I did once see my boss walk out the front of the workshop with a trolly jack so I thought I would come out to see what was happening. There was a car parked across the driveway, before I knew what was happening he had jacked the back up and slid it around onto the road, dropped it back down and walked in side!! The driver comes running out as all the trafic is backed up honking horns and abusing him!! This guy had been parking across the driveway evey day for a month to go to the shop next door. Chooka

    Qfm Brakes

We generally used the Taxi Pack standards with great results in the workshop and you could get allot of margin on them compared to the Bendix with more milage between changes. I use the LTM high performance in my car at the moment, I have slotted DBA's also and can't fault them. Get very good milage out of them to with a fair bit of hard braking. Chooka
  18. It does not do much/any damage unless you push the fork right up close, that's how auction houses move there cars.. Chooka

    Qfm Brakes

Not bad Pad's, we used to stock them in my old workshop. They wear very well once bedded in properly (More bedding in required than bendix) and they are pretty much the one price across the there model range. Chooka
