  1. Hey Peoples, In the top gear bugatti 407kmph video they used a gps to calculated the actual speed of the car. I was wondering if I could put one on my car on the windscreen as it should be more accurated and easier to see. Does anyone know what type of gps it is? regards Jordan
  2. Hey homes, I've been wondering if I was to change the conrods on the T ute, what would be the easiest way to do it? Would it be easiesr to take off the head or to remove the sump and drop out the crank to do it? Has anyone tried to just remove the sump and slip out only the conrods by themselves? It might sound stupid but in some other engines it can be done. What do you think? Regards Jordan
  3. The socket idea was your best bet, but you probably used the wrong size. The next best idea is to use a hammer and chisel, but before you try that do the socket idea again.
  4. that's shocking I don't mean to be rude but you would have to be on drugs to like that. So just give me a second and I'll like change my mind about it. In regards to the scoop thing on your car.
  5. I'm going for the $38k as the ute is perfect as I bought it, only with the oil being changed on it to the best I could buy cost like $200 for just the oil. The guys brother is my friend too and knows the ute from the day I bought it, so he knows how its not even broken in. Its a virgin still yet to be deflowered.
  6. I like the 35k+ number that ypurv4 reckons. I wish I never bought the ute, only cause its too good for the concrete industry and I'm too chicken sh*t to even scratch the plastic in the load area. Damn I should have got a sedan.
  7. Hey Peoples I have been made an offer for my 2005 BA mk2 xr6 turbo ute 6 speed manual, magnet pack, 18 inch wheels. The ute has only got like just on 7000kms and nothing has been put in the back except a friend who needed a lift. I paid like $46000 when I bought it new and I was wondering what its worth now? I barely ever drive it or really ever drove it at all and the guy who wants to buy it knows this. What price should I tell him? Jordan

    My Rant

I had a similiar situation happen between my mates involving a cefiro and drifting. I ended up fixing most of the damage just to help out both my friends. The guy who crashed the cefiro is paying up though, but every every slowly.
  9. Jim beam is hell better drink than JD. JD gives me the runs .
  10. I guess everyone who owns a T thought of this at one stage. Looks like a better idea than the factory location. Maybe there should be an transition adapter bolted between the throttle body and the upper plenum? Easier to bolt up and seal than to weld for us home tuners.
  11. I agree that Rick kelly is a wa*ker. He only won by using the most worse case of bad sportsmanship I have ever seen in motorsport . I heard that the kelly's are based in Mildura, we should form an angry fire bearing mob and chase them out of the country for tainting our motorsport image.
  12. I haven't seen it, but that is a disgrace to motorsport everywhere Its okay to win at any cost, but to not come in after being given a black flag only for the sake of blocking a rival championship contender is purely against all morals of the sport. Anyone who sees big nose, give him whats coming to him!
  13. I'm in a similar situation, my ute is a ba mk2 xr6 turbo magnet pack with a 6 speed manual. I never really drove it and its sitting there collecting dust with only 7000kms on the clock. Perfect as new conditon, what do you think I'll get for it? Oh and the reason for not using it is that I'm a concretor and I chickened out of turning it into my work hack. Jordan
  14. how long until we get live wire? in Australia we are so behind, it makes me cry!
