Hey guys I've still got a thumping noise each time my auto transmission changes into gears a coupke if the guys mentioned it might be the diff bushes but I got it checked out and their still in good condition can anyone recommend a good transmission guy in the south east suburbs in Victoria

Hi guys I got this thumping noise each time my automatic changes gears I've been told to look at the diff bushes but they look solid with no wear or tear, I have only done 70, 000 k to the ba xr6t and want to get rid of the thumping noise can anyone help me with this problem

thanks steveR that's a good tip for bush front and rear because it has got sloopy handling hard so you reckon I wont be able to do much about the diff clunking noise?

hey john yeh I reckon I might take my right foot of accelarator for a start that might help lol its a bit a though:-) yeh mines a 2004 ba mark one but I've only done 60,000k on mine I only started to mod it in the last few months with the stage 2 set up I got its 269kw at the wheels do you guys still reckon it could be the diff bushes because the car has'nt really got high kilometre thanks velocity I take it to my ford man then for the super pro the tires I got on them are falken's forgot which ones but they cost me around 270 bucks per tire which are only a couple months old how much are those nittos invos??? ohh and the suspension are still standed if I change them do you reckon it will help with traction

thanks for your reply mate, you sure that its only the diff bush it makes a hell of a thump noise each time it goes into gear also how do I get better traction everytime I take off it wants to lose traction all the time hi velocity not so much on take off but on gear changes

hi guys I'm new to this forum,I've got this problem with my ford after I modified it with a stage2 set up (valve springs,injectors,ecu)ect..ect...I've been hearing this thumping noise from my diff how do I fix this problem and what parts do I buy to get rid of this problem please help
