  1. try reflash it!!!! ← Thanks Nick, I'll try it and let you know. By the way, If I put a 3.5" dump pipe with a metal cat into a twin 2.5" cat back system, what effects would it have on your tune. I have already added the cat back twin 2.5" system and there does not appear to have any adveres effects!
  2. Hey Mickey G, does your car still rev up to 2000rpm on a cold startup. Mine didn't after the tune, but has started doing it again! Traction Control is switching off again as well.
  3. dunno what hes on about cause mine was the 3rd one they did and they built if off of the jig so I dont know ← I thought it was strange also. I rang again today and spoke with Ross. He remembered my call and thought I was after a 4" pipe. After talking with this time he said he can do A 3.5" dump pipe with metal cat as a direct bolt in replacement!
  4. Spoke to Exotic Exhaust today. They said they have done one but it was a rush job therefore didn't build a jig. They said the next car they get they will be making a jig which will allow them to make a direct replacement that than can be shipped and fitted anywhere.
  5. Hey, has anyone heard or seen Eugene. I've tried to contact him with no reply.
  6. YEP, at this stage I'll be there!
  7. Weren't those Nankangs stuffed a couple of months ago? We should try putting a get together on shortly!
  8. Yes Daz....but you are supposed to sit in your seat...not on the gear knob... ← Ha, Ha, your killing me! I got both hands on the steering wheel, I have to change gears with something !
  9. You can get a WOGCOOLER for less than $500, can't you?
  10. "That is quickly learnt with a passion." Learnt quickly with a need. I must admit, this car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it!
  11. Wow, thanks for the feedback and advise! I just want to make it clear, I am not having a go at anyone or anything! I only asked the question because I was told that something is holding it back, which 1 possible cause was fuel. After talking to some other people in the know it was mentioned the the cat could also be a possible cause. At present if it is the cat, I don't have the $300 plus to replace it. Keep in mind that we don't even know for sure if it is the cat or fuel or something else! As stated, next time Nick is in Newcastle I will try Vortex98 and see if that improves! For the first time, on my way home from work traction control activated in 2nd gear. Tried it again with TC switched off, man it was impressive. How these guys with 270 plus rwkw keep these things in a straight line is beyond me!
  12. Sounds like I have a pretty decent tune after all! You can really feel the extra punch. All I might do is, put in a good tank of fuel and next time Nick's in Newcastle I'll give it another run on the dyno! Thanks a lot guys!
  13. Did your tuner suggest the cat was collapsed? Get a torch and shine it up your exhaust. See any gold flakes up there? If so, cat may have collapsed. New cat will solve it. Being an auto, I don't think 238 is too poor a result. Some engines are strong, some aren't so. What was your absolute stock power figure? Don't get too dissapointed with your figure... Instead, take note of how much power you have gained. ← Very good advise! On the std map it ran 190.1rwkw. I've attached a copy of the dyno sheet for your reference. Next year when funds allow, I want to do injectors, cooler and exhaust. I might wait to then to chase more if you think 240ish isn't too bad!
  14. Just had a custom tune done by a reputable tuner, and it maxed out @ 238.1rwkw. He has even confused why he could not get more from it. The possible causes that were suggested were fuel (BP Ultimate) or possibly the cat. I'm happy to replace the cat if that is the case. The very same tune was installed into another T which went straight over 250 and ended up over 260. This T was a std MKI Auto with a Wog Cooler. Does anyone have any other suggestions that may help?
  15. A saturday night at some point would be nice!
  16. Bosch P/N is 0 280 155 968
  17. No I don't think it caused the backfire, however I'm am thinking the backfire may have damaged the cat if that is possible. Is there any way of testing it. At present the only way seem to replace it.
  18. Looks like ebay is the way to go!
  19. Stabbing in the dark at present! While running generic tunes, it backfired quite severely a couple of times. I'm thinking, maybe it has been damaged! Dynowog was stumped and quite frankly a bit imbarresed returning it to me with only 238rwkw. He was confident he could get 250-260 which was proven when my tune was ran on similar car, same day, same dyno and instantly ran over 250! So really guys, any advise/suggestion will highly respected!
  20. No, it's not stock! Filter, FPV CAI and DYNOWOG tune! It is all the WOG could get out of it, yet the same tune was installed into another std car which went straight to over 250rwkw. I'm thinking there's a restriction somewhere. Any advise would be a great help!
  21. Sorry, I am talking new. Only today I have been quoted $710 from a company we have delt with for over 2 years and specialise in fuel injection. Looks like it may be time to find another supplier!
  22. What would you guy's consider to be a reasonable price to pay for a set of 968 injectors?
  23. All great info! Is 3" big enough, or should I go bigger?
  24. Thanks again Adam!
  25. Thanks Adam, is their a site sponsor we can buy them from?
