I have rechecked with the workshop, now they said "OH yes there are codes, but they make no sense". These are the codes in order as they showed on the scanner: P0420 P1381 P1383 P1386 P1388

Hey, my son bought a 2011 XR6 Turbo ute approximately 6 mths ago, and until now its been running VERY well. It has CAI, after market intercooler (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HDI-HYBRI...UAAOSwnDxUhqIl) and a tune. As I said it has been running fine, but out of the blue it now is idling low, quite rough and rattly, and the engine light is on. Raise the idle via the pedal, all noises and roughness disappear. When its driven, a weird induction noise comes in with a noticeable drop in power, yet the boost gauge still operates normally. Had it at a supposedly reputable workshop today, thinking a scan tool may help but nothing was found. Hoping someone here may be able to offer some suggestions.

This is mainly due to the fact that the std rotors are NOT designed for Ultimate pads! Rotors are designed to wear out. They like the pads, piston rings, bearings are designed to wear and be replaced! So if you place a harder pad on a standard (soft) rotor, combine this better braking performance from the pad, the rotor will wear out quicker. Simple!

Now I'm really upset! Mine only made 238 @ the wheels after a Wog tune!

Can anyone tell me what is the difference in offset of the rear wheel on a BF F6 compared to a XR6T rim? Measurement in (mm) please!

That's why I choose the BF GT/F6 kit. You see alot of dunnydores, early falcons and the jap stuff with after markets kits fitted, not all but some kits don't fit well, don't suit the vehicle shape at all. I liked the fact that Ford designed this kit to suit!

I personally went with the BF GT/F6 kit. Sure I've been branded a tranny, but I have left it branded as a XR6 Turbo. To the minority, they can pick that it is a tarted up T. But to the majority it looks different to the XR Series that have become as common as dog ! I have always claimed that the XR6T should have had more than just a badge! The XR side skirts and rear bar are even being used on the new Fairmont Ghia. This IMO lowers the impact further!

No, it is "238.1rwkw"! Boost has been verified by a total of 3 gauges.

Not Correct! I was running the Capa 8psi generic tune which with 227rwkw. I'm now running a Custom Wog Tune where my boost gauge peaks at 15psi and only got 238.1rwkw. Just for interest, both runs were on the same dyno!

Looking at putting a larger intercooler on my T. For my own reasons I will be running the factory (MKII) tune. What effects do you think it would have ie: power, torque, boost and AFR's. Or would it have little effect.

My T has only done 1200k's this year (yes 1200k's) and when I do drive it, I only give it a squirt now and again, no burnouts, no going around corners with both feet on the load pedal. I bought it for the appearance aswell, hence why I've put BF GT body kit on it. Thanx again!

Hey Mickey, sorry to hear about your troubles. But as stated “you play you pay”. This is why I’m considering returning my car to standard. If my trans sh*t it self, I do not have the $$ to fix it, plus the misses would tear my n?ts out with a chainsaw. My T has only done 500klm since the custom tune, but the torque this thing produces is HUGE. Don’t get me wrong it feels awesome, but it can’t be good for the trans.

What is the maximum torque the auto's in the BA's have been designed to handle?

Does it run rough just before it stops?

Find a local spare parts shop that sells HELLA lights. It is made by Hella and the part number for the fog light is 9.1113.01. I have already bought one for $72 and fitted it, it is exactly the same! That is if the BF light is the same as the BA!
