  1. 45L of Optimax and a long drive later, next day started a champ & hasn't skipped a beat. I used to think Shell was the devil but so far it appears like the BP isn't performing so great. Leaving the car sit until Monday night for now.
  2. Short, no. longer; I feel happier with them as some people do have degrading spark issues with stock equipment. There are also boosters, I feel by design they aren't so great at all. If there are other replacement coils as an "upgrade" they might be cheaper than these. They might run just as good. I'm only saying I haven't had an issue, yet, with what I have. I'm saying that I've found the customer service to be good, thus far.
  3. Yeah I'd say that's my issue. I've using nothing but BP & for roughly 2 months every cold start is a real dog for about 5 seconds. Thanks BP Noticed my economy isn't as great lately either. have a a big drive coming up. Will put a tank of something else in & Report back
  4. *sigh* flame suit on Im running weaponX. Yes expensive, yes not mainstream. I had an issue, rang the distrubuter to sort it on a weekend and I felt I was well looked after. I have heard lots of anecdotes of weaponX products and customer being no good. I hear a lot more issues with non OEM AND genuine ignition causing issue. I am not aware of others on the site that have gone down this road and had issues. In fact I am not aware of others that have them at all. No I'm not endorsing them. I will report back any issues if I do
  5. Interesting. Got any more details on this formula change?
  6. Ask a silly question; how do the manufacturers run in engines? Or do they at all? Pretty sure most people just pick up the keys & drive it
  7. Hi Bruss, welcome. Have any of those mods been done with a tune at all?
  8. If you're in to doing intermediate (and even some advanced) work yourself, follow phil's guides and you won't go wrong
  9. Sitting pretty nice there. I like it
  10. Able to lift the rear at all?
  11. I'm a bit of a fan of RDA brake pads. Old falcon had them, I baked them real good one evening and they just dealt with it. Bit dusty, but not too bad
  12. Bam! You bet. Shave those mofo's down and post pics for glory
  13. 1kg of rotational mass in a rim = ~3kg of body mass to roll forward. Yes I know it's only a few kg over all, but you don't see race teams using over weighted components when they don't have to
  14. The one you're thinking of Phil had a territory awd?
  15. Dropping the pan and replacing the filter is about 3L. Maybe four. If you open it and the fluid looks like below, flush it with 20L
  16. Servicing the gearbox. Wtf are you on about?
  17. Highly recommend a new pan & filter on the box. Even just 3L and a filter to know the condition of the fluid in there to start with to keep things cheap
  18. I could be wrong, I thought they where different? Happy to be proven wrong however
  19. There's a build thread getting around on FF of a F6 motor bolted in to a wagon with a territory drive train too. Haven't had a look yet. Sounds epic
  20. Different sizes in turbo, plus emissions, probably most likely the cause
  21. Under the airbox on the headlight loom. Had green corrosion around it. bit of emery to clean everything and she's good
  22. BF F6 ute here, did some strange things with the speedo for a while. Intermittent; but I think I found a loose earth and after Ive torqued it back up everything seems good. Can't say that was the exact cause however, I think mine was a canbus fault as it didnt throw a code.
