  1. Interest here. Long way & with my sh*tty schedule right now don't know till maybe a week ahead. But would love to be there
  2. Just read a post on Facebook that said a guy just asked a dealership & was told he had til 5pm today to place an order then that was it, all over. Anyone know what the story is?
  3. Any idea which ones?
  4. I do like a good dyno montage
  5. I'm already starting to diversify my career & prospects for finding a way to make a living after I finish my current contract. Sad times for a lot of people that won't find it as easy as me to do that
  6. I notice the same. I flick it to performance mode & drop it down a couple
  7. I'm probably going to have this post removed but I'll just say what I'm thinking anyway. Ford US are vaginas & the federal government are vaginas for not stopping them
  8. +1 for a battery. Was surprised to see the CCA's on my old f6's battery was actually lower than I expected
  9. This. And I'm happy to say these are a good thing, only after I see a few in the field not roasting pumps & coils
  10. Still waiting to hear a member from here say anything about it. The main thread was on another site, might be more there
  11. Lol, cops went full bluff & you called it. Also, epic thread
  12. Cool, Might have scored some free upgraded suspension gear
  13. What sort of arrangement came from factory on the Tornado? Noticed I'm riding on KYB shocks & a whiteline front swaybar Previous owner said the original owner dropped it on its guts, they then lifted it back up
  14. That's all good, but with the larger injectors you might need different plugs (injector connectors) & the impedance of the unit might not be supported via the ECU. That & idle quality might go to sh*t if the pulse rate is too short for what your trying to do. Big freakn injectors, all I'm sayn'. Better to build the system in stages of performance to your tuners suggestion than to oversize some parts too early.
  15. +1 audi
  16. Aren't you only talking 300 though? It doesn't matter the fuel, it'll be the internals that will be the issue going for numbers first
  17. *facepalm* yup, sorry dumb post. Last GT with 400kw & overhead would be an epic finish. Too bad ford are pussies & wouldn't do something that good. /endthread
  18. (1000cc's are dam big. If your aiming for 300's, 60's are enough)
  19. Looks like the returning XR8 will get basically the 335 FG/FH motor with a 375kw overdose arrangement for short squirts. Might be an impressive package. But I got thinking, they're not really doing anything other than maybe upping the blower pressure a little & letting it rev out more. But then I thought, what will the GT output? Could be looking at ~400kw? Base tune? Would be epic http://www.topgear.com/au/photos/ford-xr8
  20. Thinking your brave doing that. Don't know much about their turbos but valve springs is the first thing that'll let go, they let the eng rev out more to gain the power. Bottom ends on a BA aren't as good either as a BF2 or a F6. Fuel may be a limitation so a small upgrade to injectors is probably good. Inductions on the B series are average so getting a good cooler & pipework is a plus. I hear a lot of ppl running as standard mods a 12lb actuator ported wastegate, overhauled induction, big fuel system & a dump/cat combo getting mid 300's without too much issue. In short though, if your going to put something like 5 times the boost in without upping the rest of the components, running 98, just keep a bucket in the back of the car to pick up engine parts you drop on the road. Not saying putting that much boost in is bad, but its bad
  21. Everyone seems to be running very low viscosity. 0w & 5w is super low stuff. I'll be chucking in royal purple 10w50 or whatever that range is & be done with it. I'm also hearing the aforementioned 2 second lifter tick as described too
  22. iirc, the; BA is one make BA f6 is different bottom end BF (could be identical to BA) BF F6 is the same as BA BF2 xr6t has the same internals as F6 As far as I know; All F series motors are the same. The differences come in the programing, turbo parts, bolt-ons, aux etc. In all, having a BF F6 is the way to go as the turbo is so oversized for the job, the limit starts to be the fuel sys early on. The FG's went to smaller turbos & thus more money needs to be spent when you start looking around 350's with the xr6's. Not sure if the FG F6 has a ceramic turbo as well.
  23. One more pound they said, It would be fun they said
  24. Beast, just beast
