  2. Hey all, Well chewed the Diff in the T today, so now I'm looking at what diff gears to put in the new diff. Looking at 4.10 gears over the 3.73 gears but not real sure. Just wondering if anyone that has 4.10 can give me a bit of info on how they find it driving. Cheers
  3. I once owned a Boss 260 and I reckon that the headers were one of the best mods. If you can afford it get headers and a tune. I would recommend getting them fitted.
  4. Looks great, but one thing to consider is it may not be in a good spot for guys with tow bars.
  5. How can you possibly do this job without taking the turbo of the car?

  7. That's your traction control working correctly.
  8. Just a thought, how is the balance set on your stereo. Maybe that has something to do with it. But, honestly I don't know
  9. What would people be willing to pay to do this. Whatever you do the original battery will have to be replaced unless you put it in the boot or using APS type pipng. If you were to change the battery to the other side with that set up would be pretty easy. Just run a power from the Starter cable and find a good earth. Otherwise find a dry cell battery and get a battery tray from autobahn or similiar. Otherwise see your local auto elec. Should be able to do it for about 400.
  10. Good job boosted sa, good to see someone is doing something out side the square and getting great results. At a nice budget too I hear...
  11. Well I've got the cradle out of the tank but can't seem to get the cradle apart to replace the pump. Is there any tricks to this? Has someone already done a step by step guide? I've had a search but the search function is just crap
  12. nothing really, it will just allow your suspension to ravel a bit more without hitting the bump stops all the time. I cut mine to the base knuckle front and back and haven't had a prob.
  13. cut em
  14. Tried that, didn't get real good results though
  15. cheers for the response, I have done a little bit more research and found that using the SAF-XA would require 100ml Sturaco additive. Also have found that Shell LS90 has been recommended. I found this info in this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...topic=10696&hl= Shell themselves recommend a synthetic diff oil with an additive, what I would like to know is what would be best if I was to use the car for track days, would the mineral LS90 provide enough protection with heat generated or better to go synthetic with additives? This is for a mk 1 sedan with IRS diff
  16. Hi all So what diff oil offers the best protection for our T's, especially the modded ones out there. Also is there any tricks to changing the oil that should be known? How often should the diff oil be changed on a modified T? Cheers
  17. Might be a cheap way for someone to upgrade there T5 box. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
  18. or tap into your cigerette lighter. you can run the wires down the left hand side of the icc under the trim. I found that to be easiest.
  19. What are these bosch injectors you speak of and where can I source some, also what $ are they. Cheers
  20. Managed to get 4.5L in by jacking up one side. But if the man him self says four litres and the book says 4.8Litres I'm happy with 4.5. By the way it feels like a much smoother box now and a lot quieter. For around 70 bucks it's money well spent.
  21. Thanks for the link. Cheers
  22. Sorry my mistake I meant to say five out but only four back in before coming out the fill. Not in my owners manual as mine is a mark 1 BA
  23. Just wondering what is the oil capacity of the T56 gearbox. The strange thing is I got four litres out and only 4litres back in before it started coming out the fill hole. Any help is appreciated. Cheers
  24. what is the flow rate of these?
