  1. Something like that lol.. Might as well of called it the Power Pipe to top it off. Barry.
  2. Ours retail for $240.00 and have been out for over a month. They are identical units. Barry.
  3. Mate don't believe all that your told..............the product is not yet fully developed...........and it's not being done in Australia.................and we don't know at this stage............who will sell and distribute the product in Australia. Peter APS What a surprise, Still at it Peter.
  4. Had a great time guys, was a bit tired on the day but the red bull and chocolate kept me going. Next time I won't stay up cruising all night long. Would look forward to coming along to another run some time. Make sure its when I'm back in Perth Al. Barry Blueprint GT.
  5. I would say it would retail for under $1000.00 but as I stated before the price is not set yet. For this price you get a handheld scanner/programmer which I think is pretty good value, you would be able to read diagnostics trouble codes as well. One of these from snap-on is worth about $5000.00 and $700.00 per update card.
  6. Hi, I just sent a PM to you. If you can supply me complete assemblies with everything as listed in my post cheaper than my dealer trade account I will buy all my stock from you. Maybe we can do bussiness.
  7. Hi guys, If you can get the comlplete air box arrangement from Ford at a lower cost this would be better than getting it from me. I realize it would be a whole lot easier as well and then I could just send the adapters around Oz. Most of the guys buying the kit allready have the housings and stuff, that's why the cost was so minimal. Anyway, here is a list of the parts that you need to do a complete change over. Add it all up and let me know how much it costs in total. Screw Plugs X 2 BMC High Flow Filter Adapter $50.00 from me Cover, filter housing Bracket, filter housing Boot, rubber Clamp, lid Screws X 6 Rubber mounts and inserts X 2 for housing Tube, 6cyl. Airbox to throttle body Adapter B to join two rubber tubes together. $15.00 from me. Clamps, hose. X 2 with minimum 80mm id. Don't think I have forgotten anything.
  8. Not sure at this stage but could be around the 1k mark
  9. Hi guys, Yes, you would be able to reflash using a hand held tool, change any parameter/map/scalar you want. All in the stock ECM. Bit bit scary really.
  10. BA Engine Control Management/ POSSIBLE REPROGRAMMING CAPABILITY Hello there, I am calling on on BA Falcon owners to see if I can get a lending hand as we might have a break through with E.C.M. reflashing capablility. What I require if possible is a photograph of the tag that is stuck on the side or top of the Engine Control Module, or any other identification on the ECM. If you don't have a camera then a detailed explaination of what is written on there would be good. Also with this info could you tell me what Year/ Month and Body and Engine/Drivetrain combination you also have. This info will help to let me know just how many catch codes are out there. Please send any info to me at BPT@norcom.net.au All I can say at this stage is.... GIVE THE POWER TO THE PEOPLE.. Thanx Barry
  11. Will make a prototype up and see how it tests out. Will let you know how it goes.
  12. Like the 5.4 pulley kit I would probably do a two piece kit comprising of the crank pulley and the water pump, there would be no need for a shorter belt and the factory one could be retained. On testing of the V8 set up there was no effect on engine cooling as the thermo fans take care of the system, air con has not been effected nor has charging. I would probably design them with a 25% underdrive ratio. would not take pen to paper unless there is a market, one offs are way too much to produce.
  13. Not trying to advertise anything here as I don't have the pulleys made yet to sell but rather trying to see if it is worth my while manufacturing, the forums are a good place to see what peoples comments and sceptics are. I do see an advantage for these pulleys on a 6 considering the V8 has a mountain more torque and we are seeing 10kW at the rears from a set. Who knows what we would see out of a six cyl. Research and development is my game for the benefit of all. Barry.
  14. Anyone interested in the C.A.I. system can get in contact with me on 041 791 8922 or email me at bpt@norcom.net.au Sorry about the pictures of the system on the website. That one was the prototype. Thanks.
  15. Hi all, I am doing a feasability study on how many or if any one would be interseted in purchase of an underdrive pulley kit for the AU and BA 6 cylinders, Turbo's included. They would yeild about the same amount of rear wheel gain as the V8 ones of 8 to 10 kW at the rears and would most likely retail for around the same price of $460.00 Thought I would try the forum for a response before manufacturing these pulleys as it takes a fair amount of resorces to follow it through. Those of you who own a 6cyl BA or AU would you mind letting me know if something like this would interest you.. Regards, Barry Batten
  16. Hey Superoo, Whats this solenoid sh*t they told you about?? sound like they are telling you porkies. My GT also has the clunking noise, in fact it has come back 3 times and I am getting pissed off. I got my car on some stand and got a mate to load up the rear suspension with the engine running. It turns out that the clunking noise is in fact the center diff housing mount bolt coming loose. Also found that it looks like the shank of the bolt is too small for the inside diameter of the mount hole. I have informed FPV about this fault and suggested they revise the bolt size. One permanant fix I can think of doing is to shim or sleve the bolt in the hole so it does not flog around as much.
  17. Hi people, I am happy to say that my GT is not consuming anymore oil. I was concerned by the 3000k inspectoin that I lost about 2.5L of oil, After 5000 clicks I have seen no oil consumption. I guess my engine is probably run in now.
  18. Finally got my new GT last week. I pretty much lived in it for the first three days. :D Only a few little faults that I picked up but apart from that a real good ride. I am not dissapointed.
  19. I asked my dealer today about the driving training and he said that I shouldn't hold my breath. He said that Ford are a bit slow to react on making it happen.
