  1. that's what I want to put on my car next those black rims on blood orange would look tough
  2. sounds awesome mate I want one
  3. Was that for a 245/35 ZR19?? If so, where?? ← yeah mate, for the 19s. I got a quote down at the local tyre power in canberra. I shopped around, and the quotes ranged from $350-400. $380 seemed to be what most quoted though.
  4. best quote I got was $350 per tyre
  5. my car loses around 3psi in hot temps. On a warm day, it'll only boost to around 12-13psi, where as on a cooler day, 15-16psi is the norm in 4th and 5th gear. I can't wait till it's cooler again
  6. Thanks guys
  7. If he's anything like me it will probably last around 28 years ← geez, I hope he doesn't plan on living with me that long then last night was a rough sleep! not sure how much I got... feels like I've been on a bender since wednesday!!
  8. mine goes to around 1800-2000rpm then settles. I'd say that 2700 is a little high though, I'm pretty sure your tuner can alter how much it races up. Not sure if it would cause any damage or problems, best to ask your tuner
  9. thanks guys it still feels so.. weird. Unreal infact. Not sure if it has fully settled in yet, I still feel as though I'm just baby sitting it's a great feeling though!! He really is a good kid, barely makes a sound.. eats then straight back to sleep, not sure how long that'll last
  10. good luck with it mate. Nothing wrong with a change now and then, and I totally agree with you on how ford haven't really changed much since 2002, except perhaps the 6sp auto. Let us know how it goes, it'll be good to get an unbiased opinion Tough looking cars none the less
  11. his name's Riley, but I'll call him Rocky he used to punch the crap outta the missus Jack, I think you may have jinxed me when you said march kids are good kids.. but, either way, he was always gonna be a march baby, so I guess it wasn't your fault. Funnily enough, I still keep in touch with one of my old teachers from high school, top bloke he is. He sent me and Rach a letter to wish us well and everything.. anyways, the letter arrived yesterday, right on the day he was born! How freaky I suppose I better get to bed.. don't want to do a repeat of todays effort and turn up late again
  12. Well, 6am wednesday morning the missus had a feeling she'd be going into labour, and by 9am her waters had broken. she didn't give birth to the little tacker till 3:35am Thursday 8th of march It was a very very long process, as the bub was posterior and refused to budge! After much suction, pulling, pushing, they finally got the forceps and dragged him out by his poor little head!! Very happy to say that he's all well and good, and mum is recovering well too! Although she's probably had 2hrs sleep since 6am wednesday. As for me, I'm wrecked. But that's my own fault.. had a bit of a bender last night to celebrate his birth! I told the missus I'd be back at the hospital by around 9am... I didn't get home till 6am Needless to say, mum wasn't too impressed when I didn't show up till 3pm.. still feeling ill now. With a bit of luck they'll both be home tomorrow, and a new chapter/adventure will begin for me! Jimmy

I'm like most people here.. I like any performance car. I post on the LS1 forums, and I respect peoples choice and decision. Some guys on the forums own both a Expensive Daewoo and a ford, so who cares??
  14. if it was the instantaneous trip thingy, I don't think it would go down to zero, or up to 192.. the lowest mine has been is 0.3 and that's when coasting downhills.
  15. Nice Gauges White Weapon, just to clarify your other options not being worth it comment, I will just clarify a few things for you so you understand the difference. Pod holder you have whilst fine, is vacuum formed. Tooling would be about $1000 to produce and take about 1 day to make. Plastic used is General Purpose ABS sheet, each unit produced is different than the last as the plastic sheet is heated the sucked down over a mould which doesnt allow for consistancy in parts as the sheet heats and cools unevenly. The alternative you speak of is as follows. Tooling consist of 3 moulds costing $38000 made from nitrided hardend tool steel taking 9 weeks to make. Parts are Injection Moulded which means polymer beads are melted and hydraulically injected into the mould under 400 tonnes per square inch of pressure. Each part is identical to the last as well as a superior finish and fit. Plastic used is a UV stabilised ABSPC and Acetal engineering plastic, far superior in longevity and far more expensive than general purpose ABS sheet. Now, dont get me wrong, Im not bagging you or the SS product, I mearly want you to understand that you do get what you pay for, so to say they are not worth the extra money is incorrect, they are priced accordingly to quality and fit. If you pay $40k + for a car, why settle for second best with your accessories. See the attached pic. Cheers Jeff ← For $155, you can't go wrong with the tri pod considering, not too long ago, people were charging $250+ for the phoon bi pods Out of interest, how much is the SS holder?? surely it can't be that much cheaper!! Mind you, for my personal choice, even if it was only $50, I think I'd still pay the extra and get the tri. Hell, I'm thinking of getting one and replacing my phoon pod with it more money spent on the car
  16. I've seen mine go to 89L before, perhaps more, but I had to watch the road
  17. Only exhaust mods was the cat. I removed centre muffler later for the sound, but that didn't affect anything. here's my dyno sheet. Boost hits hard, then tapers back in the higher rev range. I still have the stock valve springs though. Still, it's great to drive. Good luck with it all
  18. when coming back from an interstate drive a few times, I filled the car when it was near empty, and the gauge didn't move much, and the distance till empty almost remained the same I thought the petrol station ripped me off!! drove about half an hour and all went back to normal.. albeit very slowly!!
  19. she was insane.. overtaking bikes and performance cars
  20. cobraV8, the reason I said phoon will crank more power is because he said he is after a slightly used car. I assumed, slightly used might mean older then April 06, depending on the deal he can get.. if the T has the same rods as the F6 then it wouldn't matter, but if he goes an earlier model the F6 will get more power. Anyways, back on topic. Here's my list of mods and power. I got 304rwkw with these mods 968 injectors 4inch cat k&n panel + CAI Edit tune Fuel Pump ASE intercooler (standard pipe work) clutch
  21. yep, and if they can't get another one at least if ya T is written off there are plenty more to replace it.
  22. yep, mine's around 7-9psi in 1st, around 10-12psi in 2nd, and usually from 3rd onwards it'll sit between 13-16psi depending on the weather.
  23. They're dyno isn't in yet, but they've been using a dyno elsewhere. And Blonk, yep, that's the same Glen
  24. if you get a phoon, and add all those mods (maybe bigger injectors then you've listed), it could quite possibly see 350+rwkw. the C&V package looks the goods too
  25. I was informed not to push the accelerator in an injected car if the car is not running have I been mis-informed??
