No need to do that my friend, as we all know, I might not be the quickest sort to begin with, but top end...

Of course do you honestly think I'd miss an excuse to run up the freeway with the T's ?
-
Hey Steve (oh mighty cruise controller) My mrs is working til 11.15 on sunday, any chance we can cruise up the freeway, past the Caltex/Woolies petrol station on the West Side of Joondalup Drive to pick her up, then from Joondalup Drive out to Wanneroo Rd and north ?

Honestly couldn't tell you Steve, never tried polishing the car, $30 gets me a wash and wax and interior clean at the undercover place at Whitties shopping center Always looks schmick coming out of there, and $30 once a month is quite the deal if you ask me I used to have a sticker on the back windscreen that was put on by some random who thought he was doing the right thing when he serviced the car, that came off in the second wash/wax/clean cycle :rokon:

Hey Simon... On the way home this morning, had a play with a T up the fwy, nice fordextremetuning sticker on the top of the rear window, license plate 1ccp xxx, went like stink, but I still kept up with him, as the speed limit allows of course Do you know the guy ? Is he on the forums ?

Faark I thought I did well with $249 a corner. How do you find them? Couldn't find any review of them anywhere but took the plunge and couldn't be happier. ← My mrs works next to a Bob Janes and asked them what the best tyre was they had in that size, they recommended the Pirelli Dragon Yet to try them out properly, but there was NO road noise on the drive home, it was unbelievably quiet, not like the old Dunlop crap SP3000's that were on the car previously

Have just had 960 dollars worth of rubber put on my baby, I'm just gonna have to see how they go when we take our cruise up to Gingin Pirelli Dragons 235x45x17 on special for 229 a tyre, down from 359 Gotta love stocktake sales

Hey Steve, From what I remember, on the bottom of the reverse side of the parking fine, the statement goes "Wilson do not have any power to enforce this fine blah blah blah" I think that's the way it went, it's been a bit of time since I've been there...

I nearly made that mistake the first night I had my 8, it had been raining and I decided to play with the traction control off (yeah, real gold idea there) thinking I would be able to handle whatever I did. Big mistake... About 500m from home, around a bend in the wet, I planted my foot, the car held and shot away, about 25m later there was a second bend, and I dropped her into second, the arse end danced for me, so now going sideways up a hill, I took my foot off the accelerator and steered slightly into the skid, she danced the other way as I crested the hill.. so cresting a hill going sideways, I was having the biggest heart attack... Over the top of the hill, and starting down the other side, she dances again, only this time, the arse end over takes the front end and puts my front left tyre into the gutter, about a metre away from an old wooden light pole, bounced the nose up into one of those little yellow poles with the no standing sign on it and the arse end came to a scratching halt against a retaining wall. I decided that this would be an extremely good lesson in how to leave the traction control on at all times unless on a grassy paddock or something with nothing to hit within a kilometre. To this day, the traction control has stayed on...

As long as my crappy work rotation allows me to show up, I'll be there, I'm on a 4 night on 4 nights off rotation. Luckily I only have to deal with idiots, so I get to watch lots of movies / catch up on tv series

So I get home on sunday afternoon, and the phone rings, it's the local constabulary wanting my car to be taken in for forensics They had it from sunday night through to late yesterday afternoon When the f*ckers broke in, the grabbed my wallet as well as the other gear, and tried using my credit card about a half hour after I had cancelled it so the guy at the servo held onto it and reported it to the coppers (they're also keeping the card for fingerprints) That was the first break in the case, the second came in the video footage of the man and woman who were trying to use it and the third was the footage of the rego (not stolen) on the car they were driving I also got a call yesterday morning from the coppers asking for serial numbers and the such so they can go and get a warrant for a raid on their property, obviously having linked the idiots through their rego I'm seeing the lovely police officers this afternoon to see if they have any goods for me, seized from the property raid they were on when I picked my car up... All I'm gonna say is I hope the idiots get introduced to a cell mate named bubba, who has a very large pen*s and a preference for men.... Nick

After an extremely disappointing day today, it will be with much joy and elation that I get to drive around with the like of a group of guys (and girls) such as your selves on the morrow My XR8 was broken into during the wee hours of the morning, and about 3500 dollars of gear was pinched from within... :cussing: Insurance will cover about 2500 dollars worth, but what sh*ts me is the alarm system (read dog) didn't even make so much as a sound when it happened, yet when my old man walks out the front to take a look, the dog goes off like he's meant to... Anyhoo, I'll catch all you fine ppls tomorrow, 0800 at the subiaco hotel...
