I was going to say the same thing.I use baby shampoo & micro fibre cloth.NO SPOUNGE or woolen mit they collect too much crap.

Ok this is the problem,My F6 went in for warranty work last week to replace both drive shafts as the car had a clunk from the rear.Anyway they called me your car is ready. OK walk in to service deparment ask did u test drive the car he said all good,So I say thank u c ya later.After about ten min I could hear a grinding sound.Got out of the car & saw my drivers side disc being grinded away & also my rear calipers all scratch up,So I do a u turn & head back.Got back to the dealer I ask for the dealer princable nice chap.He came back saying sorry 1 bolt was not done tight I will get it road worthy for u & on Monday bring it in & I will have a loan car free of charge for u & we will re paint rear calipers also,I said fine,Next thing my car was ready. off I go home.Today got in for a drive hit the free way 100ks the car was all over the place it felt like I had a flat.I pulled over at a station tyers ok so I go home then jack drivers side rear up & the rear wheel hah about 15 mm play the hub was still lose.That explains y it was all over the place.HOW USELESS ARE THESE PEOPLE.Its not the first time Peter waren@ warrick farm left rear wheel nuts lose on my XR6 TURBO.This is just a pain,how many people on this site are sick of it. FORDs half harted work.Can we do something on TV or newspaper. Anyone out there with a good connection.Its not going to get better unless we do it,FORD CUSTOMER CARE JUST DONT CARE.sorry about my spelling Yeh it SUX as well. This car is dead stock no mods other than wheels.

It sounds like its hitting the limiter,Are u sure your shifting a 5000 rpm,Had the same sort of problem with my car I would shift at 5700 & by the time the box selected second it would hit the limiterTry shifting at 5400rpm Also try second gear at the same RPM.I hope it helps.CHEERS BB

Hi guys a few new pics of my beast with 20 rims, front 20 x 8.5 with 245 rubber,rear 20 x9.5 with 275 rubber ,She is almost 1 1/2 years old & still stock.Black is very hard 2 look after but when she is clean,I cream my pants.

Hi mate just weigh a set of tac mags 19 x 8.5 & they came in at 10kg as well.Got a new set for my F6 so weigh the rears as they are larger than front 20x9.5 with 275 rubber 28 kg all up

Ford,Nobody knows your car like we do.Look like alot of people are in the same boat.No chance of getting the owe cars repaired not even at there 3rd go,& that counts me in aswell. I would give it to Toyota to fix more of a chance of them doing it right than these clowns.Dosnt anyone from ford head department give a sh*t.

Sorry to hear that mate but that's FORD,Dont stress just demand it gets a paint detail,They can be removed no problems at all.Its other thing to keep them off on a black car.I will give you a tip I use a block of hand soap & grade it in a buket of warm water dont use spounges at all they collect alot of sh*t,Use micro fibre cloth & wash it out every time.Wash,wax,dry,allways straight lines follow wind direction as it would go over the car.Yes I do owne a BLACK F6 & it looks mint.

Yeh right re clear coat a new car because of swirls,that's crazy.On the other hand you could see swirl marks on a white car & you could see them from your balcony.if you see them from balcony on a white car there not swirls mate they are scratches.Mate a good detailer can remove swirls no problems at all.I would rather do that than get my NEW CAR re cleared.
