Well the engine felt a little bit flat , and it was using around 20l/100. At the service they "hinted" it might be running rough and "running on 7". It really didn't seem that bad , but I booked it in, and they said it failed a leakdown test and low compression on a few cylinders . They tried to de-carboning fuel , and Ford finally agreed to fitting new heads . The engine had to be dropped and this took around 3 weeks . The result ? , fuel is around 17-18/100 , power seems OK but it still feels a bit rough . And they stuffed up the steering when the engine was out .
