  1. Guys , looking forward to seeing you lot again and yes, dial your HP would be a good thing to do and there is a place for it on the Dyno waiver you all sign. 2 things I noticed reading through all the bullsh.. , err, posts is that The price is $45, not $35 per car and $10 returns to the club/forum. Please don't leave rubber out the front as the old duck over the road will be on the phone real quick to the local boys in blue. Start 1/2 way up the street.... Hope to see a good 20 or so Falcons , XR6 , XR6T, XR8 , XY , or whatever, we don't care. Just try not to bring anything front wheel drive as it creates a bit of a hassle. Cheers Ken
  2. $850 supplied and fitted with Nizpro valve springs. Cheers Ken

    Tuners Wa

We can as well, we just don't get on these forums much. Hyperdrive Motorsport in Malaga. Have been tuning turbo cars for years , Gen 3 commodores and now Xr6T and are the agents for Nizpro in WA. We have a Shootout 05 accredited Dyno Dynamics in house dyno plus we have the new Data Logger from CAPA which makes the tuning easier. I suggest you get an issue of Perth Street Car magazine and look through that. There are heaps of guys tuning Fords now but most of them aren't on this forum. Cheers Ken
  4. Not high boost , just HP. Remember that these things come from the factory with about 250ish rwhp and now they are getting up to 80% more hp and masses of torque increase then something has to give. As stated , that is why the phoon has the stronger rods cos Ford realised they had a problem. Cheers Ken
  5. BF Drag TA's work well. We use them on Lee Sampsons 11 sec 180sx and they cut his 60ft time by about .4 sec over road spec tyres. Mind you , he broke 3 gearboxes doing it . Nittos are virtually unavaliable in WA and bloody expensive. The exhaust was an experimental combo we are trying using custom 3.5in front incorporating a 4in cat and twin 2.75in for the rest. What we found was the turbo housing wastegate had to be hogged out as boost was uncontrolled due to the restriction. Our gurus tell us that is the sign of a well flowing exhaust so it must work. Cheers Ken
  6. Yep , agree in that there was some serious sideways, in the wet, close to the wall action. It will only get better as more people become experienced. Nice to see that one of our cars won again... Cheers Ken
  7. Youngy, was that you that came in and bought those Nizpro parts off us ? Sounds like a weapon too. We just finished a customers Xr6T 5 speed that has the same clutch minus the flywheel , Nizpro stage 2 , one of our custom exhausts and ran 410rwhp ( 305 rwkw ) at 12 psi.Would easily do more but he was worried about the dreaded conrod problem. Trying to convince him to take it to the plex but he isn't interested Cheers Ken
  8. Have rechecked the data and there is a glitch. The temp should have been around 22-23 deg which allowing for correction gives it about 410-420rwhp. Still impressive though.. All the other cars run had no problem so I have NFI Advantage of Shootout is those glitches are avaliable and displayed on the graph. And no, I don't know what happened as the exhaust is on the other side and even if the probe was touching the radiator it wouldn't read that high . Weird and we are checking with Dyno Dynamics. Sorry about that and apologise to Louie for giving him false hope. We will happily redyno at his convenience and get a correct power figure. Cheers ken
  9. What?? Hmm, ok we will check on Monday in regards to this. Spoke to louie and he said it was a wastegate problem he was having hence the large discrepancy between D+T and us. To be honest, we didn't check the IT for each car , just assumed that plugged into the inlet tract would be right. Anyways, It was a huge difference compared to the last time we saw the car here for a dyno shootout and Simon from Extreme Ford Tuning should be congratulated for his tuning efforts. For those that saw the car at the PPCC day, Simon had said the tune in the car was not right but someone's son insisted it was going on the dyno anyway... Cheers Ken PS , Just a quick plug in that we do Edit tuning as well
  10. No problems if you don't get 20 but would be nice. We won't tell you all to go home because of that Look forward to meeting a few of you guys and don't forget your money . We will need someone to organise taking the money and getting the disclaimers sign because we will all be busy strapping cars on/checking tyre pressures/hooking up various probes.... Cheers Ken Hyperdrive Motorsport 1/28 Vale St Malaga 9209 3100. is the address and the number for those who get lost. PS who rung today thinking we were in Wangara ? hehe
  11. Ok fellas , this is my first post on here as Russell wants me to keep an eye on you guys My name is Ken and I am one of the partners of Hyperdrive Motorsport who will be running the dyno day for you lot on July 9th We look forward to seeing everyone and just to confirm a few things BBQ facilities are avaliable for the club to use and most clubs ( SAU, PPCC, Magna etc ) usually bring all the sausages/buns/onions etc and sell hotdogs to raise funds for themselves. The day starts at 10am sharp and someone from the club will have to sort the money taking/getting disclaimers signed. We provide the disclaimers. We average around 4-5 rwd cars an hour so if there is 20 then it won't be finished till around 2 pm , allowing for a short lunch break. Other cars are welcome but due to the configuration of the dyno, it would be appreciated if Front Wheel Drives don't come as it slows the day down. Sorry.:( What Russell DIDN'T mention is that we charge $40 for the power run BUT the club ( ie you guys) get $10 back to do what you want with. It is our way of supporting clubs who support us. Most clubs usullay buy a few trophies with it and put the rest in the club kitty. Sorry for the long first but hope that explains everything Cheers Ken
